Do you know eric, I've had similar problems. WHen I sit on the train on the way home I find I'm getting real discomfort around the bottom of my ribs, and when I wriggle around I can feel things sort of rubbing together/squishing past each other. I've been trying to work out what it is for weeks and I think it must be that I had a big padding of fat there before, and now ribs and other bits of me like tendons and muscle are rubbing together for the first time and trying to work out where they go! I tried to exxplain it at the clinic and they just sort of looked at me blankly.

its my tailbone, it was used to having a 12" buffer of fat, it gets very sore now ..

and my stomach sack is breaking down, it used to be a fixed but it pulls down now so if i wear a tucked in shirt i get a massive pain in my shoulder blades ...

Am just fed up of this losing weight malarky it's too ruddy hard. Feel on a right downer about it all. Have no motivation for anything :(
just wanted to get that off my chest feel free to ignore.

dont try to diet, it does not work

    make a permanent lifestyle change

eat healthy whole foods, avoid processed foods especially refined carbs, reduce your carb intake a bit, up your protein a bit, eat healthy fats and oils, take a little exercise

monitor your weight ONCE a week if you do not loose weight that week do not worry about it just reduce your portions a little bit

do not forget if you cut your intake too much you will stop loosing weight ..

Booked in for "aqua challenge" at the local pool on Tues. Have roped in OH, sister and her hubby in too. Don't like the sound of the "challenge" bit. :( Now where is my lacy body??:D

Good luck, tis good that you have some moral support, sounds good to me :D

Sweet, I used the think of SW Healthy Extra "A" as fibre. It is usually cereal, wholemeal bread, ryvita. "B" was calcium - so milk, cheese etc. There's a bit more to it but that is pretty much why you include two portions of "A" and one or two of "B" every day.

Ta, it is starting to sink in, slowly :o Curse this MOTM feeling!!/QUOTE]

Sweet - I used to have a scanned copy of a SW booklet which explained everything. I`m not sure if i`ve still got it but if i find it i`ll let you know.

Ta, don't worry if you can't find it as I'm about 65% sure that I'm going to join a class

    Understand completely how you feel

Welcome Mystery-Lover  Like Glowy said, some of us are struggling a bit atm, we're not always like this though so don't give up on us!!

Eric, hope you're feeling better soon, have no idea what to suggest to help with your symptoms, hope it doesn't stop you from sticking with your plan, you've been doing so well & it would be a shame if you had to stop :(

I liked the advice you gave to Bitsy, it's common sense really.

I'm starting to wonder about the 'cut your intake too much & stop losing' though. Reason for that is my MIL has lost quite a bit of weight because she hasn't been eating enough. She's been fretting about my hubby & also her daughter, who have both been ill at the same time, & this has affected her appetite (she's a worrier) so she hasn't been eating properly for a few weeks. She's always been small but now her face looks drawn. I saw a photo of her taken last year & she looked obese compared to now, even though she's never been fat in her life. Weird.

Actually, while I'm waffling on, does anyone else find it strange that Posh Beckham looks fat in old photos, even though she wasn't anywhere near fat at the time?? That's what I mean about my MIL, she wasn't fat when that photo was taken last year, but now she's lost so much weight (like Posh has) it looked like she was fat?!

Ok, I'd better stop now, I think I've gone a bit hormonally mental because of MOTM :o:rotfl:

the heart condition or the sore tail bone?

the tail bone makes you stand up which has to be good

the heart condition is a pain as the drugs make you exhausted and make you put on weight, hopefully i have adjusted to it now

i feel positive and back on course :T

I try to avoid looking at the sickly anorexic talentless attention seeking horse at every opportunity :)

Going gay would be a preferable option to her ...

:T cant stand the silly affected biatch.

In fact, last time i saw her 'judging' on American idol, (love the auditions) omg what a farce, she was embarrassing, dunno if anyone saw it but her arms were like strings dangling down and she hugged someone side on and she was so thin it was pathetic, for the first time ever, i felt really sad for her, she must be so unhappy and must have mental health issues, she was def borderline anorexic.. where is her mum and her hubby !!!!!!, she needs treatment.
