Aww sweet you sound in a worse state than me, i cba either.
I also need a holiday, will def be having one next year, and every year too in future, i'm not hanging around waiting for friends anymore, there's peeps in work i can go with.
One friend went to Dubai yesterday, never fancied it myself, but was told to ask someone in work where to go when you get there and i must say it sounds fab.
The hotel is positively palatial.
I am soooo jealous
Weathers been awful all night, high winds and heavy rain, more like October than Julystill horrible now.

Helloo
So, I am doing 15 mins wii fit 3 x a week, 30 mins once a week. Eating super healthy and I have lost zero pounds. I feel healthier but I want to be thin damit!
I want to be smug and thin and smug and fit and smug. (stamps feet)
Sorry -had to get that of my (gigantic) chest. Arrrrrgggghhhh!"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

Fat's turning to muscle <nods> Be smug
Bought 'the Gi DIET' shopping and eating out guide, the other day. Bit different to low carb. Makes more sense to me.. just spotted buckwheat in the green column too, so gonna cook up some of that later.
Feeling a little 'snacky' now. Better go find something or I'll be [STRIKE]pigging out[/STRIKE] picking the wrong things soon.
[Note to self: eat more museli tomorrow]
Got a pile of (washed) washing to sort out. I'm gonna do it in front of the telly and take it easy! :cool2:
Have a great day peeps!

I find T-shirts the least flattering thing on earth. I have refused to wear them since I was about 10. Do you really prefer them to feminine tops? In a plain T-shirt might you not look like a person who doesn't love herself enough to dress up a bit?

Well i`ve had a strange day foodwise
Brekkie should have been scramblies and mushrooms but work was mega busy and i didn`t have time so i ended up with a ham sandwich - first time i`ve eaten bread for a month, later i ate some cooked streaky bacon and 2 scotch eggs and then grazed on a full large bag of nuts.
Needless to say i feel carp now and very thirsty after all that salt. Won`t be doing that again in a hurry!
On a plus note after the latest stint of long shifts i`ve now got two days off :j:j gawd i feel like i`ve been let out of prison :rotfl:
Tea later will definitely be something without carbs, i hate this bloated feeling, it seems worse as i`ve not felt this way for a good while now.
Tommorrow i`ll do a meal plan as i`m no good when i`m not organised.
I`m off for a nap to recuperate, whats the betting that on my day off tomorrow i`ll still wake up at 4am!
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
I've got international evening at DS's school tonight. Am well prepared with my chicken salad, which I'm going to tip onto a plate surreptitiously so I don't have to go picking stuff out of everyone else's carby cooking. To compensate for my measly meal I've made a fantabulous summer pudding that I'm going to put out with a massive jug of cream and enjoy watching everyone else hoover it up.
I could do without it all actually. Got a teased and upset son to deal with (five years old, can't winkle the proper facts out of him); incompetent childminder; school woes with new classes - DS not with any of his friends; mother's breast cancer spreading and NHS !!!!ed up her first radiotherapy appt so she didn't get any treatment. I had a massage this morning and was told my tense back and shoulders are close to the top of the tight scale. Is it any wonder?0 -

Lol @ the couch. I don't just lie back for anybody you know. :rotfl:
I would prefer a nice top but tbh t-shirts flatter my figure more. They seem more forgiving and are usually a slightly thicker material than a blouse is, so skim over my bulges rather than lie on them iyswim.I could do without it all actually. Aw sarah, sorry to hear about your Mum. Hopefully the people in charge of her care will get their act together and she wont have to wait too long for another appointment. I didn't know she was ill, you must sometimes read people's posts (mine especially) and think 'shut your face, you don't have it as bad as you think you do'.
Hope your lad settles and you can get to the bottom of it all.
Sending calm and positive vibes your way.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Brekkie:
H/M museli with Greek yoghurt
'11sies':
Atkins crispbread + Aldi cracker with Philly. light basil, + onion
Lunch:
Old 'freezer' soup: h/m veggie + (fat) crust of stoneground bread
Tea:
Salmon fillet, salad (+ 'cool oil' + Balsamic) + buckwheat.
+ little (250ml) can of Gin and diet tonic. Also 'tasted' boys' 'PTS' (pasta, tuna, sweetcorn) whilst making.
Had 'supplements' and couple of pints of water too.
Quite pleased.0 -

Shoot, I'm weighing in tomorrow, and I've persuaded a friend to do so with me. Now after losing 8lbs last week, I'd really like to see the scales drop a wee bit moe, especially with a pal to show off smugly to ~ so why have I been so baaad this week?
I've stuck with the low carbs at mealtimes ~ whoop ~ but why did I eat wagon wheels, creme eggs, birthday cake and chocolate pudding? I have so little willpower, and I wasn't even hungry.
D'you think I'll've put it all back on?I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
