Looks lovely alias. Really relaxing. now stop !!!!!!! stressing about going on a nice mini break! I do understand how you feel, really I do, but I also know from living it that you just have to take a step outside your head and decide that you're not going to be bothered about your size, just for this weekend. ou're going to dress up, put on some perfume and slap and look great and treat yourself. And you and OH are going to be nice to each oher ad have a fab time.

If you don't I'm coming up there to slap you.

    Ok Mum. :D

Strange thing...I went to look for that 'giving the finger smilie' and it's been removed from the thread. No big deal BUT....it's not in my photobucket account either anymore. Common sense says MSE can't remove things from external accounts BUT it also says things don't just disppear by themselves.

    Ideas anyone?

Hi folks, had a great lie on :)

Slept til 11am, it's great not getting up for school.

Better go and clean a bit before work.
Also gonna watch the exercise dvd i bought months ago and not even opened :o

Alias, the swimsuits with the tummy support are great, def give a firmer tummy shape and feel quite tight and supportive when they're on and you cant tell as they look like usual swimsuits ;)
  • Hi peeps :hello:

I've been busy in the garden (doing penance for the huge chunk of tiramisu cake I had for brekkie :o) & I've discovered that the tiny round stepping stones in my lawn are actually quite big hexagonal stepping stones!! :rotfl: They look quite pretty actually :D I do have to dig them all out though & put sand (?) underneath as some of them are about 2-3 inches below lawn level!! That's a job for another [STRIKE]year[/STRIKE] day though.

Still not lcing (the clue was in the brekkie I had :o) as I just don't feel like being sensible atm. I'd like to get back on track at some point as school hols are looming & I don't want to be blobbing around if we end up going somewhere.

alias, hope you have a fantastically dirty weekend with your OH, you definitely need some time away together & I hope it brings you closer together & happier in yourself :kisses3:

stormbreaker, I didn't realise the first place was minging!! We've been to the Heads of Ayr Farm which is next door (I seem to remember) & I always thought the holiday park was in a lovely location with really nice views so would probably be a great place to stay, shows how much I know!! :rotfl:

sister, can you tell us more about how you're getting on with the harcombe diet please?? Think I've read about it before when it's been mentioned?? Do you have the book??

Right, lunch is calling to me

Mazzers, in answer to your earlier question, I haven't actually started introducing carbs yet. It should start next week - presuming I've lost more than 1 lb at my next weigh in, which, last time, I merrily thought no problem! But as I STILLhaven't lost any since Weds I'm starting to worry. Weigh in is Saturday.

Just had some nice pretend pitta with baba ganoush and salad for lunch, which was yummy, and am going to attempt my yoga class at lunch (though with this cold I don'tthink I'm going to be much good. Especially at the inverted poses - snot waterfall!)

    Afternoon gang

i think that this will probably be my last lc day and i will switch to a SW type of thingy. I could hardly eat my breakfast this morning which is so unlike me :(

I forced it down though and had some salted cashews and then later two chicken thighs and some cheese and salami.

Tonight for tea we will be having shepherds pie, DH will have a spud topping with his and i shall have cauliflower on mine.

Actually this would be a good red day meal *scratches chin*

I`m not going to go all out carb mad and will have more red days than green days i think but will still keep the reds lowish carb. It does suit me and i do feel tons better but i`m so bored. All the nice low carb recipes are a pain to take to work and reheat etc and i`m fed up with my usual menu. It has been a bit restrictive and repetitive so i`m hoping that this will give me more freedom without ballooning again.

Last night when DH forgot to take the mince out to defrost i ended up throwing together a biryani with a ready made madras sauce and i though i`d died and gone to heaven :rotfl:

Fried onions and rice in one meal :rotfl: was expecting to be super hungry this morning after the carby stuff but i wasn`t hungry at all. Wasn`t expecting to have to force down brekkie though.

I`ll make a meal plan up later or tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.

Anyone doing the old fashioned green/red day thingys please feel free to post your daily scoffs so that i can pinch some ideas :D

Sistercas - The harcombe diet looks interesting, let us know how you get on!
