Alias ooer that sounds awful , i have dreams like that although i dont think ive decked anyone yet :rotfl: when i'm stressed/ anxious
mazzers how did it go at the docs , sorry if you have said i havent looked back further than this page so far
we go on holiday in 3 weeks and i really need to shift some lard , but i just cant motivate myself to stick to icing
i really want to lose half a stone between now than when i go , but i cant stop eating , I have ordered THISfrom amazon to see if it enlightens me0 -
Aww Alias, what a horrible dream. What an awful start to the day. You poor thing!
I can't really think of anything to say to help sadly, although I do remember hearing/reading that dreams often have opposite meanings.. someone dies means there may be a wedding lined up.. that kind of thing..
Also, I know you can't help it, but getting stressed about it is only going to make it worse.. try and make light of it if you possibly can.. it's the dieting screwing with your head. I've felt like carp the last couple of days.. really down.. suddenly, today, things don't seem all that bad after all.. - really enjoyed walking the 'woofaloe' this morning (thanks SD) :rotfl:- and guess what, I didn't diet yesterday... it really does mess with your head. So look on the bright side, and look at how much you've achieved.
I probably haven't helped, but I wanted to try. I felt for you when I read your post. You sound sad. Hope your day gets better :grouphug:
Just had brekkie: a scrambled egg (well, microwaved lol) - the way Sunny calls them 'scramblies' made me want some hehe - a 'GG' cracker, and a couple of Aldi crackers..oh, and when I opened the microwave I found 1.5 frankfurters which I thought OH had eaten, so I had those too. Was nice0 -
On the other hand alias, being a new place is a good point to start afresh. Try to put negative thoughts out of your head about it or you'll !!!! it up for yourself from the start. HUgs though, horrid dreams can be really intense and hard to shake yourself from. You're right though - you do need to do something about yourl ife. Your posts over the past few months are showing you moving from one crisis to another and clearly underneath it all you're very frustrated and upset. What to do though? What does your gut feeling say?0

Appt didnt go according to plan
Was told that the only way to remove a bulky fibroid is by abdominal hysterectomy and it would be too risky with my dodgy ticker, ablation probably wouldnt be very successful because of the fibroid, and would require anaesthetic anyway, so the only option was a mirena coil which is the option i didnt want as it may or may not work and would probably take several months if it did, and it could also 'fall out' !!!!!!, and it took five attempts to get it in
Horrible.
I asked the doc if my tummy would get smaller if the fibroid was removed and he said yes, so double gutted.
And... he was handsome and wanted to insert the coil himself OMG, i had to refuse, no way was he seeing my cellulitey thighs and my bits:rotfl:

Horrid dream Ali, and don't be sorry, this thread is for emotional and dietary support.
Mazzers, it all sounds awful ~ is it worth a second opinion?I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Well the choice was mine, but certainly didnt want to risk anaesthetic under the circumstances.
I asked if i could have it with a local, but it would be unpleasant and isn't usually done, for non essential surgery anyway, so opted for the safest option.
Pointless waking up dead just to stop heavy periods eh0 -

It says this is my life and always will be.
I can't see any way to change things for the better for me, without changing things for the worse for others.
For years I've just kinda floated along with it all but for some reason (there it is again, lol) it's really bringing me down now.
I'm not even bothering trying to watch what I'm eating now, I don't really care. I have a body to suit my life, imagine how even more depressed I'd be if I had a body for partying and I was still stuck here.
Not to worry. Cheers for the kind thoughts all.
Maz, sorry the news wasn't better from the Doc, but look on the bright side..... you're an old fart now anyway so it's only a matter of time before things die down of their own accord.
Love you Maz. :kisses3:

is an epidural an option?0 -

I asked that, was told it isn't, doc said he doesn't know why as it's very much like a cesarean, i think if it was life saving surgery it'd be different and they'd do it.
Ah well.
Alias, you can always moan to me if you feel the need.
And btw, my mum was over 60 before the menopause started
Looks like i'm following in her footsteps unfortunately.
My middle boy just made a fabulous carrot cake, proper icing and all, it's so lush and his first ever cake, needless to say, i've had three slices
I did need cheering up tho.. see, i'll always be fat.
He commented on me eating it and i said 'ah, i could be dead next week' and he said 'yea, and imagine if you slimmed right down then got run over, how gutted would you be after all that deprivation' :rotfl: he has a point!0
