You could always go and book a hol in Cornwall
At this rate it'll be a tent in the back garden!! :rotfl:
Hows Hubs doing with his appendix? is there ay chance of it getting sorted out yet?
He has an appointment with the consultant tomorrow afternoon which was sent to him before the latest flare-up. We're hoping that they decide to operate sometime soon as it's just taking over our livesThere was even a possibility that we couldn't go to this party (his Mum's 70th) because he was feeling so ill earlier in the week, but he's determined to go. Looks like I'll be doing all the driving though.
Can`t wait for tomorrow to have a fresh start, i`ve not cheated today but feel like i have IYKWIM so i need a new day for a fresh outlook
Hope you feeling more positive today.I like the one on the left, looks like it shows your boobs...helps pulling power. :rotfl:
That's what I thought, slashed to the navel, mazzers you [STRIKE]tart[/STRIKE] will look lovely in that!!:rotfl:
slimmer of the week - 3lbs loss woo !!
That's brilliant, well done!! :j
Morning :hello:
I can have a fairly relaxing morning today as all the running around like a headless chicken looking for outfits is behind meHave a hair appointment booked for tomorrow morning so I think I'm all sorted now. I'm going to have a soak in the bath, exfoliate, shave etc etc & then cut & paint my finger & toe nails.
Weight wise I'm still not losing, not too bothered tbh as I feel slimmer & my stomach is definitely flatter. I don't think I'm eating the right things but I've been too busy to care!!
Food for today:
pre-B - raspberry protein shake
B - not hungry
L - Aldi cracker 'pizzas'
D - butter chicken & grated cauli/green beans??
Just remembered my savoy cabbage is still in the garageWhat colour does it go when it goes mouldy, it can't go green?! :rotfl:
Right, I'm off for my lazy bath. I hope everyone that's having a hard time (hanno, noo noo & the usual suspect) feels better about things soon, once things have settled, food hoovered up etc etc!!

I'm not coming to the highlands to get you.. daft bint indeed :rotfl:
Mind you, i didnt even notice it was cut to the navel, just liked the style and the 'floatyness'
It is really low  but a sparkly brooch type thingy will be okay to hold it closed.
It looks really nice with a pair of smart black trousers so i'm glad i got it, also got a floaty little David Emmanuel number, not sure if thats a bit old fashioned tho (crippy we used to say in school :rotfl:)
I think i'm kinda doing SW red atm as i'm having a litttle bit of seedy bread daily, but by going without daytime and saving carbs for the evening stops me from having too many as it's bedtime before the next meal, it seems to be suiting me.
Sunny, i'm not diabetic but i test glucose levels, it's surprising what raises it really high (weetabix) and what doesn't (porridge) so is good to see what keeps you stable, the strips are expensive though, have a good search on the net as there can be quite a difference and bargains can be had (even ebay)
Sweet, sorry to hear hubby still having probs, best get an op done out of the way and return to normal, cant wait for mine, and no more worries!0 -
Morning all. Good luck at the doc's mazzers.
Had a good weigh in last night - just under 3 lb lost last week. That means I've now got (by my scales) 4lb to go til goal! Very exciting. I told her last night that I may want to revise my goal as I still have jelly belly. But tbh, I don't know if that will ever go - been with me so long that it seems to be a permanent part of the furniture. ANyway. It looks like I will move to phase three next week which means... ta dah... a slice of whole wheat bread in the mornings. AHHHH! Can't imagine eating bread. How weird. Just haven't done it for years. I must admit I'm rather nervous about it too. Just imagine it will make me blow up like a balloon, or set off cravings.0 -

I had a 'feeling' this morning. I get snapshots of things in my mind sometimes, usually set off by a smell. For some reason, I remembered how I felt when I was about 12 and I had a white t-shirt, jeans and a turquoise nylon bomber jacket with white stripes down the arms. Sounds chavvy now but in those days it was the height of fashion. (No, trust me, it was) I was a size 8 but had a pretty developed figure and I looked about 16 at least. I was also very mature for my age and got on better with the 16 year olds rather than my own age group. In short, I felt good, life was good, even although I was only a kid. I don't remember feeling as good any time after that, even although I obviously had things that brought me joy in later life.
I know I'm never gonna be 12 again and I'll never feel the same carefree feelings I had then (family and house committments will see to that, lol) but I'd love to just feel a little of that again now. I never will whilst I'm fat. So !!!!!! is stopping me from eating less?!

Hehe, i knew that really.
He has settled down a bit now, but even his mate (who has mental health problems) has said he sounds unwell and he wants the old him back.. aww.
So he's getting his act together a bit0 -
mazzers, hope all is ok with your eldest, you haven't mentioned him for a while so I presumed things were ok.
sarah, good luck with phase 3!!
I had 4 cracker 'pizzas' for lunch & some garlic sausage, is that greedy of me?!I was hungry though as I'd skipped a proper brekkie. Forgot to have my supplements with them so I must remember to take them with dinner. I also must remember to take them away with me this weekend, my memory is carp at times
I had to scrub my fit flops today, and my feet as they both stank to high heaven!!Honestly, with so much air circulating around you wouldn't expect to get smelly feet with them would you?! :rotfl: I need to find some foot spray, I don't want to gas the Scottish peeps out at the weekend!! :rotfl:
Off to the Orthodontist now with my DDs, hopefully be accepted for treatment for braces as they both have wonky teeth, take after me unfortunately.
Wonky teeth & smelly feet - what a pretty picture I paint of myself!! :rotfl:0 -
WD Sarah! Thats brill news, wish I was near target... (21lb to go)
I crave salt and pepper spare ribs EVERY day - its driving me nuts! lol0
