Unless they change things you'll probably find it's 3%.Stompa0 -
Hi, a quick question about additional card holders. My partner applied for this card but was rejected. Would I be able to get her an additional card via my GE Money card?
Assuming so, how would this work for cashback - would we both be able to accrue 3% on up to £5000, or would this limit apply to the sum of our joint spending?
Thanks.If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0 -
No problem getting aditional cards for anybody (it is your credit they will be using not theirs).MrChips wrote:Hi, a quick question about additional card holders. My partner applied for this card but was rejected. Would I be able to get her an additional card via my GE Money card?

The agreement is with you alone so you will still have the sole £5000 limit.0 -
So I take it this is also not a "short cut" to establishing a good credit rating history for her? She has only been living in the UK for a couple of years and has difficulty getting any sort of credit (even a mobile phone contract was problematic!). She finally got a FD credit card with a whopping £500 limit

No, you are right, an additional card in your partner's name will have no affect on her credit rating - it may have an affect on your credit rating, however (depending on how much you trust her with your money)!MrChips wrote:So I take it this is also not a "short cut" to establishing a good credit rating history for her? Got my statement today. As already confirmed it is still 3% cashback and from my (quick) calculations it appears that the 3% is also being applied to transactions over £5k as wellsloughflint wrote:I've just purchased a bathroom which will take me over the 5k mark. I suppose 3% would be too good to be true. We'll see.

I am up to £85 cashback so far & don`t use it as my main card. Is anyone over the £150 mark which would indicate 5K is not the cut off point.0
