Just to go back to Sallys question yesterday. TIs true that some children 'feel' more favoured than others. My sister felt I was the favoured child, she has CP and felt that my mum was disappointed with her and that that caused a lot of problems growing up - for us both.

I am not sure how my mum felt tbh - its not a question I would like to ask as I am not sure I would get the 'right' answer....

Talking of sisters I am trying to persuade mine to join in here...have been for a long time.....slowly slowly catchey monkey

  • Re-enter Bookie after a few coffees on the deck with friend. It's lovely out there - sunny and the starlings are having their planning meeting in the fir tree.
Been persuaded to go to the footie later - Leicester v Derby.

I'll post the bits Sammy on Monday.

I have a compost Sammy, we just used an old black bin with the bottom cut out.

As always sammy needs step by step instructions....:rotfl:

  • There was a bin already in the garden when we moved here, one of those ones with a lid, black plastic.

Cut the bottom out. Put kitchen scraps in. Thats it.

    Morning everyone,

Interesting discussion again last night about kids......

Both my boys are so different you would think they came from seperate families, love them both to bits and I have never been accused of favouring one of them before thankfully. I am sure if one of them felt I was I would be pulled up instantly:rolleyes:

Quick question for you all if you dont mind......

Someone at work is literally draining my soul by their negativity and it is really starting to get to me lately, how would you lot deal with a person like that? Its not someone who I can avoid either.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • I know my brother thinks that I am favoured over him but we BOTH know my Mom favours my sister over both of us.

I love both of my children equally but I can say that I 'get along' better with one than the other. I like both of my kids, I think they are great children, funny, sweet, well mannered happy kids...buuuut....

  • Lou,

Hard question about work collegue-I feel the same about my former manager and still not sure I have handled the situation properly. I dont hate many people but I HATE her and I felt like she was sucking the happiness right out of me...

Voice record her and let her hear how negative she is?

  • Time to get showered me thinks. The day is disappearing!

I think that he is battle scarred from other work places and it seems that every job he has had has ended on bad terms. It does make me wonder if it is them or him though:rolleyes:
