Hi Clover, hope yourself and the kidsare well.....glad you had a nice reaction from your parents.
My OH who is the one going BR told his family a few weeks ago, there reactions were disgusting along the lines of ooh the shame, what will the neighbours think etc etc and the brother in law and his sister were quite vile, I have since found out they were made BR a couple of years back and have had a word in there shell like ears and told em back off, jeez some folk ehhh???
We have less on our Christmas Card list now and to think of the financial help OH has given them in the past beggars belief, we hinted sarcastically that some of the money lent would be welcomed back, they all scarpered and we havent had a peep out of them since, not nice folk at all.
We of the Nov 2009 BR club shall muster through, and just get on with it.
Hi Don 79 thanks for the welcome.
Have a good Sunday Clover, best wishes to you and the kids..

Hi everyone and thanks for the welcome and comments on your experiences. We have told our children who have been great and really supportive, we were really worried about how they would react. I wish our date was earlier so we could get it over with but that was the earliest date available in our area, sign of the times I suppose. We are both worried about what will happen, but the posters on this site certainly do help, and as we get nearer the time I am certain I will be on here asking loads of questions. So thanks in advance to anyone who helps us. :T:pB&SC No. 298

Hi all, just a little reminder to please be careful about posting details of your bankruptcy on here - see elfieb's thread which she has kindly posted to help us all out - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2018467
Don't give too much detail which would allow anyone to personally identify you.
Best wishes to all xxxBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Hi all,
BR on the 18th Nov......counting down the days now.....for those of you that don't know was in this position in March and the creditor did not show at court so here we go again!
This time think it will be it, (can't believe they have bothered to do it all again, must be costing them) but at least I can hopefully move on with my life....(all court cases came to nothing much in the end, learnt so many life lessons, don't blame them but the only people benifitting was the solicitors!) Time to move on!
So submission now......Will hope to share this journey with you all. (and never ever sign anything ever again!)BR Nov 2009 thinking about the future for the first time in 3 yrs!:j first step to moving on! plus will never ever sign anything for anyone in business ever again!0 -
