    Can I ask a question ?
I changed form first class recorded to SD since the 15th October and since then I have about a third of my parcels haven't been tracked. They say they have left my PO but after that nothing. :confused:Haven't had any complaints yet about parcels not arriving but it is early days yet for that. What should I do? Any help please.

I agree with custardy, Special delivery is a huge mark up to pay and it is the only guaranteed service. I would be kicking up a huge fuss just about now.

Well this is my day off, as said in a previous post, the strike action would catch up with me :p

Had appointment with ATOS today, they were supposed to call 2 weeks ago, to get me back onto a *part* duty to build my knee up slowly.
Her words were "Ok, We build you up slowly, only walk for 5 hrs everyday":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: They are totally clueless as to what the job involves. How can I possibly take their advice seriously. Think I will stick to what my physio says and starting with 1-2 hrs a day, either that or they can sack me, I aint gonna mess up the good work that's been done so far because they employ nurses who are clueless.

Listen to the physio/doctor who has examined my knee or listen to a nurse employed by RM who has taken some background over the phone and didn't understand the job or my accent?

Grunnie complain all the way on that one, that is a massive failure. I know the delivery signatures are not always available for viewing right away, but you should at least be able to see the tracking of it and where each SD item is.

why im not on the posties side and think they should be grateful they got a job:

2 weeks ago had 4 parcels arrive, my door was open slightly he left them on the step outside slightly inside the door but not enough for me to see when i shut the door they got crushed

last week i was in shower heard the door shaking thought someone was trying to kick it in so ran downstairs post man had forced a parcel through the door and 1 said DO NOT BEND in big red letters sure hed bent it and it was now damaged

today again cooking dinner door shakes like mad then i hear a knock so open it, post man has tried to force a parcel through my letterbox got it stuck so knocked and ran off! another item damaged

i sent an item last week in plastic packaging it arrived soaking wet and unusable!

How come everyone on Albert Square is still getting all their post still?

    Is Masood breaking the strike?

Where is my wage cheque that was sent last week?

Eastenders is set in the east end, and as I am also in that general area I can assure you that we have had no noticeable problems with our post. Apart from one day so far it has arrived every day, strike or not.

The only days you should notice it, is the days when the strikes are happening. Yes there are some strike breakers out on deliveries. And with the special deliveries, the managers are out delivering them. Some offices may vary. Some things may take a few days longer to reach you than they normally would, and some parcels have a longer turn around time getting back from the mail centre to delivery offices for you to collect.

    well heres today
no overtime paid in my office
i dont start my walk till after 10am
i cant park anywhere as the council have changed the parking
so i need to park on streets i dont deliver to and walk (as we say dead walk) to the parts i do then walk back to the van for more mail
without all this malarky my duty is georouted for 3.5 hours
10 o clock + 3.5 hours is 1330,unfortunatly im due back at the office at 1330 and it takes 20 minutes to drive back
so no overtime means mail and packets undelivered and taken back to the office
yup i can see thats my fault
