I bought and sold hamsters for a 100% profit after E-Bay and Paypal fees.
It'll pay towards my kids xmas presents and I sure as hell didn't get rich doing it.
Dang, both my daughters are getting xmas prezzies cuz of ebay.
Ive sold dvd's, some old pokemon cards, my new NIke Driver that i could'nt get on with, some wiggles and barney toys from last xmas
and a shed load of used lego.
I even sold a strategy guide for a pc game thats 10 years old for £40.
Sold a load of wii and xbox games too that weve played like once.

I am a grandma with 3 children and various grandchildren and have also fostered over 150 children in past 26yrs. Believe me, whatever Santa brings on xmas morning the kids will be thrilled with! Chances are anyway, whatever they are asking for now will change in the week before xmas when everything has been bought and wrapped! My lot made a regular habit of changing their minds in the week before xmas!0

What I don't like is that person not buying one or even two but clearing the whole shelf in sheer greed and selfishness.
I then object to that person putting them on ebay with a buy it now or starting price of over 3 times the value of the recommended retail price.
It is a man made problem that has turned into a viscous circle. The less stock in shops or online because people have bought more than they need so they can resell on ebay means that desparate parents are forced into a corner where they feel they have to pay the high prices on ebay because they know stock is scarce in shops and online.
Without the greed there would be no need for people to be in this position in my humble opinion.
Absolutely funny onion. I agree completely.
My point was that its not just big business for the usual ebay traders but now anyone is seeming to buy up all the stock and sell it on.
The greed is terrible but I don't see how you can stop it happening."Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates man from the animals ...well except the weasel." - Homer J Simpson

I had 2 black bin bags full of presents in the lounge waiting to be put in the attic oops I mean to send to Father Christmas - one each for my children and my daughter said "is that it?". They have a DSi each, the hamsters and all the trimmings between them, CDs, books, games, clothes etc as well. Felt like getting Mr Squiggles and shoving it up her **** lol0 -
Of course if i saw Joe Bloggs dump 40 hamsters in a trolley, I would say hang on mate, why don't you leave most of that for some other parents to get their kids for xmas.
Problem is all you would get is a load of verbal abuse."Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates man from the animals ...well except the weasel." - Homer J Simpson

Mail order express was just up on the Stock Checker saying Chunk was in stock for £14.99 but when I clicked to go to the site it was saying out of stock and price is up as £19.99, so they have put their prices up too, just as well they are sold out now, they probably only had a few.
It's not up on the list now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
i do think children can be a little greedy nowadays they always seem to want more my kids being no exception one year im going to take my kids down to our local charity or hospice with a few of their presents wrapped and give them to the less fortunate or poorly to make them relise that christmas is more about giving than receiving and i think it will give them a lovely warm generous feeling inside0
