I reported the last lot of reservation codes listed to argos and ebay. Argos said thank you they were aware of the situation but couldn't do anything about it. Ebay removed the listings...

Just to let you know that if you tried to place an order with charater online and kept getting the message that it wouldn't accept payment details that you still may get your order. I tried loads of times and eventually gave up . I got no order confirmation or any other e-mails. it still says if I log on that I have placed no orders, but this morning have received a house and two hammies! Yeah!
Just hope I don't get three more as I tried all my cards!

Weirdest thing just happened, just received a chunk from Character that I didn't order. Tried for about three hours last week but never managed to get my card details through, never received an order ackowledgement or anything. Just looked on my character order history and it doesn't show any order for chunk!

Items reported and seller now has been left neg feedback with the comment,

GREEDY PERSON SELLING ARGOS CODES FOR CHILDRENS TOY. DISGUSTING

If they complain about the feedback then that will highlight the fact they are selling the codes so I think their dastardly plan to profit from the codes has backfired!

If for some reason I couldn't use any codes I had then I would volunteer them on one of the many forums on ebay or other websites such as this knowing full well how desparate people are to get them for their children.

Just catching up with the posts since last night and saw this. i agree - to sit at your computer bagging argos reservation is out of order and ebay dont allow sales of such. I have reported these two items. If anyone else spots argos reservation codes either report to ebay or post on here and i will report. I've spotted several and had them successfully removed.

You didn't miss it of the list Maxi, It was there but it only shows Smyths in Ireland. Even though its no good for uk customers thought i would check for stock anyway.

Must have been pulled because I just went to have a look and there is nothing I can see. Well done ebay - shame on Argos for doing nothing!
