Morning all!
On Friday I officially joined the Great British Hamster Hunt! when my DD & DS suddenly announced they are officially on the Santa List (those pesky adverts are to blame lol) !! Anyway It's taken me all weekend to to read all the posts in this thread just so I know whats going on without having to ask repeat questions lol (Great info by the way!!!) by a stroke of luck I have so far managed to get all 4 hamsters who were sitting patiently waiting for me on Friday afternoon in my local asda!!
Now just the rest of the kit to find!!! My DD especially wants the 'ball' arrgghh not an easy task ahead i know, but ill give it my best shot and report back any stock finds!! Thanks for this mornings overview Maximouse - Great Job!!!0 -
Chunk back on play.com for the princely sum of £30.00Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0

OK - first time I've posted but been watching the forum for a week or so.
Thanks to all as I've managed to get the house from Toys R Us and Num Num and Squiggles from Wilkinsons.
We were away over the weekend in a place called Millport. It is on the Island of Cumbrae which is a 10 minute ferry ride off the west coast of Scotland (you get the Ferry from Largs).
We go there a lot and there is a great toyshop called Mapes (one of only about a dozen shops). My wife went in on Saturday with the kids and they had all 4 hamsters and pretty much all the accessories. She came away with Pipsqueak for my niece, a carrier and a garage!
As far as I know they don't trade online (but have a website: mapesonline.co.uk) and as far as I know they don't offer any postal options, but if you happen to find yourselves in the area or are so desperate you'd travel, it could be worth giving them a call - they are extremely helpful and would no doubt put stuff back for a later pick up.
Good luck!0 -

That's a pretty place. Looks so peaceful - could do with a few days there lol. Website is www.mapesmillport.co.uk. As you say they don't sell online but may be useful to someone on the hamster hunt.0 -

funny.onion wrote: »How greedy. I'm all for making a quick buck but I find this awful. Sellers on ebay selling the argos reservation codes.
If for some reason I couldn't use any codes I had then I would volunteer them on one of the many forums on ebay or other websites such as this knowing full well how desparate people are to get them for their children.
£7.00 for two argos codes.
Report them to Argos!0 -
Is anyone in Aberdeen area? XxPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0

The wife is off to the doctors with DD, who had a cough for 3 weeks and miraculously stopped coughing after the school bus left.
I am left to watch the site while picking up crisps and junk from the floor and our youngest son wouldnt sleep until 12.30 am last night and decided to eat 4 crisps out of the packet and watch as he poured the rest onto the carpet, peed on them and proceeded to touch the wet pile of crisps, ewwww.
Was too tired to clean up last night so am paying the price now.
who knows, may get some kid free time today.0 -
Report them to Argos!
I was saddened when I saw it. Are people that desparate to make money? I notice they live in Wales but the codes are for Argos West London. Makes me wonder if they just went on the argos site putting post codes in at random on the stock checker and then bingo!
It may be legal but morally I think it's mean spirited to sell on the codes.Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0 -
