I reserved a couple of codes on Argos. Not to resell on Ebay but to help a couple of you on here.

Anybody live in Aberwyswyth, York or Blackpool. The codes are for the Houses only. They end today. I can mail you the numbers - No charge obviously. In the case of the York one - I need a little favour!!!

    Cheers

Have PM'd you re Blackpool - what a lovely thing to do! :T

Must have been pulled because I just went to have a look and there is nothing I can see. Well done ebay - shame on Argos for doing nothing!

 I thought the seling of the reservation codes was reported to ebay not Argos?

I'm not sure what Argos could do - stop the reserve online facility? - that would be annoying for those of us that use it responsibly - and cancelling the reservation may be a bit tricky as how would they know for sure whether it was a genuine reservation or not?

I think ebay is definately the best place to report these idiots to - they can pull the auction and they have the resources to do this - I don't suppose Argos have the resources to validate reservation codes and ensure they are not being sold on! - who would have thought it possible - I wonder if anyone is buying them?!!!
  • Argos should take the reserve and collect off the Go Go pets stuff until this madness dies down. It stops everyone else getting what they really want. If you saw it was in stock, you could go and get it...
  • Two are still there. one of their FREE code auctions they were selling for £7.50 has been bought and neg feedback left calling them greedy.

Love the neg feedback! Reduced their feedback rating to 50%!! Ha Ha serves them right!!

    hi

ok yes i agree that this a bad thing to do, but so are some of the prices sellers are asking for some of these, i would rather pay a couple of quid for a reservation that i can go and get myself in -hand, rather than paying the over the top prices to ebay sellers not forgetting the ridiculous postage that some people want.

dont get me wrong i am not saying that listing res numbers is ok , i think it is pretty low, but it may help someone who is desparate.

  • Anyone can buy them just to get them off of Ebay, and leave any neg you want, remember sellers dont leave feedback anymore.

I've got one for my 7 year old son (originally had just brought for my 5 year old DD) but I think he will probably think they are fun - like the poster above mentions though no girly accessories ;)
