Yes but in this case, because the buyer is new and has less than 10 feedbacks, the negative can be removed by ebay.

I'm not too far...why do you ask?
I phoned toys r us in Aberdeen today and they're getting stock overnight on Friday which they said will be on sale first thing Saturday. Not sure what stock but I'll be there 9am just in case they have ball and DD has asked for another hamster today so will try and surprise her. Just thought if anyone else in area it'd be worth knowing to be there Saturday morningPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
I reserved a couple of codes on Argos. Not to resell on Ebay but to help a couple of you on here.
Anybody live in Aberwyswyth, York or Blackpool. The codes are for the Houses only. They end today. I can mail you the numbers - No charge obviously. In the case of the York one - I need a little favour!!!
Cheers

Blackpool has now gone!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
hi
ok yes i agree that this a bad thing to do, but so are some of the prices sellers are asking for some of these, i would rather pay a couple of quid for a reservation that i can go and get myself in -hand, rather than paying the over the top prices to ebay sellers not forgetting the ridiculous postage that some people want.
dont get me wrong i am not saying that listing res numbers is ok , i think it is pretty low, but it may help someone who is desparate.
nilrs
That does make sense nilsr BUT by deliberately reserving the codes it means that the items become scarce in store so people then sell what they do have at inflated prices on ebay and sell the codes.
If people just acted fairly and didn't try to squeeze a penny out of every opportunity that comes their way then the rest of the community wouldn't suffer and be in the position where they feel they have to give in to others greed.Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0 -
is anyone buying these for boys?
mine cam ethe other day and i had got them for my 5 year old as he loves hamsters - but the boxes have pictures of girls all over them and i think that might put him off!
I've bought for my eight year old son after he saw them on TV. The boxes do look a bit girly but I doubt the kids will be too bothered about the boxes. Half of the playcentre is pink too but that doesn't seem to have put him off wanting one. It was on his Xmas list alongside the usual "boyish" WWE wrestling stuff.0 -
Argos should take the reserve and collect off the Go Go pets stuff until this madness dies down. It stops everyone else getting what they really want. If you saw it was in stock, you could go and get it...
But then genuine people couldn't reserve the hamster items
Apparently lots of people on here have managed to get hamster stuff from mser's being kind and doing this
My own opinion is that it's down to ebay to remove the listing - I don't see why a greedy few should spoil it for the rest of us by Argos cancelling reservations on hamster stuff.0 -
My local Tesco (barrow in furness) says they will have stock in tomorrow. Its open 24hrs so when do you think it would be put out on the shelves?Has managed to get Mr Squiggles, NumNums, A funhouse, A Ball, A Skateboard, an aqua bed, A Car and a Wheel. Surfboard on order from Play.com.0

My 7 yr old has decided he wants one and he 'wouldn't mind' if his 4 yr old sister shared her house with him. He loves soft toys and I knew he'd want one when he saw hers so luckily had already got it!0 -

Who has been able to get stock from Argos - nobody I know and probably owing to greed as shown in Porth Talbot0
