Wilkinson's online and store are getting stock of 21000 hamsters/accessories this week so i saw, gonna keep eyes out i still have a few bits to complete my set.

Should be a fun week hunting around, now the only problem is if you go out to look instore you might miss stuff online and if you wait in and keep checking online you might miss stuff in the shops.

I think that's more than is expected, I'm sure its 2,000 to be spread across all their stores and their internet site - well that's the info 3 different stores have told me, but of course I could be wrong...

They are also getting the playsets in (skateboard, surfboard, ball) but in a small amount. These are not going on the website as far as i'm aware and only the stores who have ordered them, will get them - although most wilkinsons have had hamsters, only a few have had the add ons (spiral, wheel, car) and playsets.

The delivery is due into their warehouse from the distributor tomorrow and so they will start hitting the stores the day after. Online you can order hamsters for delivery to store which means no postage cost if you have a wilkinsons near you.

Told today in Wilkinsons that this is not true. They are aware of the rumour is what I have been told...

They showed me the order on the computer...may be they are just trying to fend people off before the rush

Sorry if this has already been said but if you pre-register all your details with amazon, including payment card, you can then order with `one click' if you are logged in. This prevents anyone from pinching your hamsters during the checkout process. I did this on Friday and got two 7.99 hamsters.
Previously when doing it the slow way they kept disappearing out of my basket.

Think 21,000 hamsters when multiplied by larger retailers and number of retailers stocking equals more than a consignments' worth. Find it hard to believe.
