Lack of money means that I'm not even prepared to go that far! I can understand people doing it, but I don't think theres any need to panic buy just yet.

I've bought my girls a hamster each, and I also have one on order from amazon (cross fingers its Mr Squiggles as one daughter has requested him, either way the spare will be going to my nephew), they also have a bed each, and I have a garage on the way. I really really want a funhouse as the garage is no good without it. I bought carriers but sold them to a friend (at cost price!) because I didn't think they looked that great.

I think we all have to make sure we don't get too caught up in the hype. It would be a very unmerry christmas for us if our children disgarded these toys quickly after we'd paid these vastly inflated prices. After all its not even December yet, and it looks as though most of the shops will be getting things i next week.

has any of you tried the wilkos in bulwell and hucknall?i got full set including the ball from bulwell branch and they had loads also wilkos in hucknall seem to of had hamsters when i,ve been in,i shall be goin there tomorrow so will post if i find anything

Yeah i rang them thursday before i went out and they said shelves were bare no more stock due at the mo, do you live in bulwell????

Yeah I called all the Wilkos around Notts on Sat. morning and none of the shops had any at the time; let us know if you spot any "Sarah 4 kids", thks :P
