okay i'm probably going to be hated here but i sell on ebay well just recently i have started, i have been selling the hamsters at £25 (buy it now) by time i have paid fees etc i have had about £10 profit i have then been using the extra money to buy the accessories i need (from ebay) because i can't afford to pay £40 for a £10 piece of plastic but obviously some people can, i am desperately trying to get this stuff for my younger sister who has cerybl palsy, so not to get it isn't an option for me

i am not going to certainly hate you, but i think (well in my opinion) what annoys most about ebay is that they take everything from the shelves and leave nothing for others, i wil be honest and i have a num nums with bed blanket on ebay (the only extra i have) i offered it over on hotukdeals for a trade but had no replies so decided to put her on ebay towards a wheel. its the only one i have and started it at £1.99 so i guess people will pay what they want to.

its just shocking though what some people want for these items.

  • The real winners are evil bay.... after listing fees and their 10% cut + another 4% from paypal fees they must be raking it in.

I guess they love to see these massive prices hikes.

Its about time ppl started to boycott ebay altogether imho.

I dont mind paying high prices for very rare items that may be years old, but every xmas is the same. I got stung for £300 for a wii a few years back!!

I think when some people were clicking on the link posted it was showing someone elses details and shopping basket so they could see someone's name and address etc, I don't think it was like that for everyone as I didn't get anyones details when I clicked the link it just asked me to sign in to the site as myself. It caused a bit of concern so was thought best to delete the info until it could be investigated.

Last info I had was that www.Character-online.com get their stock in of balls, surfboards, and skateboards around 16 - 17/11 which they may put on their website on 18/11 and beds and carriers around 18/12 (free delivery on orders over £25 - no add ons expected though and I don't know if they'll have houses either). www.wilkinsonplus.com get their stock in and post their hamsters online (they've never listed the other bits that you can sometimes get in store - the good thing about when they do get stock in is that they have a deliver to store option hence no P&P - I posted the other day that Wilkinsons chain is getting just over 2000 hamsters in and they will be in the shops probably from 17/11 onwards. Then he told me that the warehouse was also expecting houses and playsets (surfboard, skateboard, ball) in this order so they might be in SOME branches of Wilkinsons as well depending on which shops have placed an order to stock these).

Also as Character are the importer / distributor for the UK, some online stores and normal shops will no doubt be getting a bit more stock in around the time character are listing their stuff if they have placed an order with them. I think these other online / normal shops 'may' also get a few of the houses and add ons, again if they had them in their original order.
