the same happens every year i remember when the ps2 slimline came out people were going mad buying them up as playstation stated there was a shortage but come nearer christmas there were loads available and i brought one no problems

its a supply and demand tactic im dam sure if capia knew it was going to be a hit toy they will have plently of stock stored away somewhere. they wouldnt want to miss out of making alot of money, they are just whipping up a frenzy sending people mad to get their toys like all the toy companies do every year lol

BTW, Looks like the ebayers are sill out buying new stock.

I can't be 100% sure, but pretty certain from my stats that one person placed four separate orders via Play aggregating to 24 hamsters this morning.

It is disgusting.

I hope that Play cancel these.

Thanks to everyone on here. Have (hopefully) got a Chunk coming from Play and 2 on order from Woolies as a back up. I kept missing everything last night, but hopefully (if all orders fulfilled) will have a hamster and home for Christmas. Thanks again everyone for you posts/links :beer:

^^ Thats so unfair, why do folk have to be so greedy. I have 'one' hamster, that i paid over the odds for on ebay. Ive seen quite a few since then pop up on play etc, but havnt bought any more as I have one, and one is enough for me.

I personally don't think its greedy at all, its just covering yourself. No one made you pay over the odds on ebay

I believe that the quote about greed may actually refer to my post where I suggested that people are buying the hamsters dozens at a time with the specific intent of ebaying them.
