I got through and she said the delivery hadn't come in yet and they didn't know what would be on the van

I just phoned my nearest store (Basildon) to be told that they will under no circumstances hold anything - not even till the end of the day. As I live half an hour away, there is no point in me keep ringing as everything will be gone by the time I get there :-(
Got house and half price hamster from Argos. Just want a couple of extra bits now, so not the end of the world, but would like the bits my daughter wants for christmas. Will keep trying..... good luck to everyone. Just can't believe how selfish some e-bayers are....obviously just buying and listing to make a profit.

I spoke at length to the lady at Toysrus yesterday and she said that everyone was getting very frustrated, the customers, them, they had many complaints that when they rang (if they pick up) it is obvious that they need to get in the car/bus and get to the store and why was it such a trauma for TRU to not hold it for the time it took to get there? The management relented and realise it is a mad rush for the items and to whom they sell it to is by the by so they decided that yes you could reserve it as it were but not for long and you would find it back on stock again if you did not show up for it...

i phone my "local" toysrus over half an hour away, and was told that they were not holding anything now, they didnt have any go go accessories only hammies. have tried everywhere local to me and there is no stock - was told one store had some yesterday :mad:

I am very impressed you got through there is a bonus:D it was supposed to be between 10 and 11, true they don't know what is on the van but we need to hound them the second it gets unloaded it will be put out and we will miss it again:rolleyes:

My TRU said they don't have a delivery on a sunday so that is why the shelves were empty, the store certainly wasn't but the go go hamster display had absolutely nothing on it, can't see why one store my one says yes we will hold and others are saying no?:rolleyes:

TRU at lakeside and basildon will not hold anything. have u tried smyths at rayleigh? maybe they will?

Hi everyone hope all the hunting is going well!! i do have the set for my son now just need a bed still but my niece is wanting the full set too this is a total nightmare!!!!
i've got the house car and hamster for her plus theres a ball on e bay finishing in an hour and i'm soooooo tempted!!! bidding at 18.01!!!! i don't count postage as i would pay that anyway from a normal store!!!!

if i can not get any extras i'll share the surf and skate board between my niece and son!!

Just phoned Lakeside (dont know why really - can't get there in a hurry either!!!), but no hamster stuff on their deliveries today, and definitely none tomorrow. Told me to try Wednesday.....

You wait - 2 weeks before xmas, there will be loads of hamster stuff in the country - e-bayers will be stuffed coz they would have bought all the stocks and left not being able to sell them at their stupid prices coz we can all get what we want........(I can live in hope??!!;))
