Sorry ... who were you talking to? ToysRUs central or a local store?

If a local store, then they could only be talking about their own allocation I think.

But ... ToysRUs are fickle .. just when you think they are sold out, some items pop online that last only a short time.

Interesting nugget that I gleaned from Character. As of Friday they were still holding distribution stock that was already ordered by retail customers for deferred delivery dates .. I only know of Hamsters at this time. That may mean that there could be more stuff to hit the usual retail outlets in addition to what Character has said is still due to delivered to themselves.

local toysrus said yesterday they have two deliveries but she was expecting one delivery of the day to be go go at around 10/11 in Kent area ,she seemed happy to confirm they would have balls in and said that now they had changed their protocol where you could ring, reserve so long as you picked it up by the end of that day

There are 33 balls on ebay and the average cheapest so far is £23 with bidding time still to go... just can't do it, need to realise that my son will not have the worst xmas of his life he does not get the ball:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mr Squiggles I got for £9.99 argos, would not pay the prices, although having said that I am guilty of paying over the odds in previous xmas for various games/toys/x box bits that were hard to come by so I guess we all do it and ebay is just playing on that, someon has the ball on for £45 buy it now:eek:
