Yes the adventure is included. I will add it to the listing when I return home.
Sorry for the confusion.
Best regards"
Of course that makes it a bargain then!
:rotfl:I wonder if anybody will actually pay that price?!
On a separate note - I have got 2 beds and blanket sets for DS and DD's hamster's and picked up a carrier at the same time on behalf of my niece but as far as I can see the carriers are erm very similar to the beds but without the furry inside and with handles on
I can't really see why you would want x4 carriers and x4 beds?0 -
He didn't reply to my msg
. Hit a nerve i think
I wonder why? I agree that people shouldn't be offering things for that amount of mark up but to encourage people to message him on a forum and for people to do it would annoy anyone.
I believe that from reading various posts on this thread that ebay isn't 'the done thing' so in that case why do people send their time looking at it/messaging people?
Should a new thread be started named 'ebay police'?0 -
Have done just that. Here is the msg i sent:
Hi there you have advertised the complete set but you don't seem to have included the Go Go Adventure Ball. This is the part that most people are looking for.
Also you realise that the RRP for what you have listed is £165. £400 is greed. Check out this page about your item

I Think this is against E-bay rules to contact people like this ,you could be reported and banned
Just a thought0 -

If it was think a lot of posters on this thread might be busted! :rotfl:
I've nothing against people selling stuff on ebay - at the end of the day I wouldn't pay over inflated prices for the hamster stuff myself but I think there are plenty that would.
The major high street retailers trying to cash it I think is pretty cheeky.
At the end of the day on ebay an item is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it - just interesting to see what that price is!0 -

Exactly! With some exceptions, most ebayers are just listing their items on auctions, often with 99p starts. I bookmarked loads of them on Sunday and have been outbid on all because prices are beyond what I want to pay. But they are selling, and getting lots of bids so obviously some people don't mind paying those prices.0 -

I agree with every point you have made. Just think others taking a bit far by messaging sellers to try and get them to justify the sale price.
Rant over...!!0 -
IMHO it is very annoying that people are stocking up purely to sell on at a profit, but there is nothing we can do about it and if anyone was found to be interfering with auctions or giving sellers grief for doing something that there are no rules against then they could be causing problems for themselves.
People, especially business buyers/sellers want to make a profit and they have a captive market, so they are doing what makes sense, in the business world.
Just my opinion, don't want things to degenerate on this thread so that posters suffer with it being closed or similar.
I am not an Ebay seller, and would not purchase these items from there but each to their own.
Many thanks again to all providers of info on this thread.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

I agree with you
I do think though that this thread is more likely to get closed because mser's are posting stating that they need an item and then somebody is posting back that they have it and then the posts following make it rather obvious that trading is going on.
While it's great to be helping out others on here the PM feature would def be the best way to go should an instance like this arise in future I reckon.;)
Also most people on mse are genuine and not suggesting anyone here isn't savvy but when you google go go hamsters this thread comes up so may attract some less than honest people who may sense the desparation and spot what's going on and try and cash in without having what they say they have (just to be clear not suggesting that anyone on this thread is doing this btw)
Perhaps I'm just a natural cynic and born worrier0 -
Crumbs go off for lunch....:rotfl::rotfl:ebay is fine, have said before I have paid over the odds for things knowingly because I can't find it elsewhere and my eldest is a devil for not waiting for things and going on ebay for buy it now... the OP is right lots go on for 0.99p start so what you choose to pay, I mean £15.44 for a pink blanket? anyway each to their own, I never messaged him/her, agree the argos reservations should come off and they did but never emailed ebay on that one either, just everyone to their own I mean at the end of the day if people pay the price, it must be worth it to them, everyone is after a bit more cash around xmas, have no probs with it, just the greediness, excessively is a bit much but then again if he sells for £399 and it were you would you not be whoop whoop whooping around the room?:D
Oh and I was on ebay for club penguing on ds for youngest:D0 -

I googled go go and my post came up so yes it is out there and yes we don't want it closed down and yes there are some undesirables about that is the case with any glitch, promotion, stock, xmas issues, anything, there are always people cashing in for pink tickets, football tickets you name it is about the money how much they can make but I still think on ebay the only people to blame as it were are the buyers because they seem to be prepared to pay over the odds and for that the seller cannot be blamed.0
