    Thanks Shonagh. I'm sorry yours didn't appear to work. I tried so many times on my credit card and even reluctantly used my direct debit card after reading a post here that credit cards didn't work. I just thought it was my cards. Each time I got right through to last page but no confirmation and it said 'no orders' on the status page and the item was still in my basket. My last attempt was with my original credit card and to my surprise it went through. Hopefully Patches will be pull through for me....go go patches baby:beer:

  • I received my hamster from TRU today and my 'ball' from Cuddy's. I've now got 2 Pips and no ball. :-(

    Thats such a shame that no order is showing for you, there is most likely a bug in their payment system when accepting UK payments due to the verify by visa screen that we have to go through and somehow it kicked us off before the order has generated :( It took me well over an hour and I was about to give up when my order finally went through but as it stands until the order status changes my bank hasn't made me that confident unless the spanish site has a record of my card details to process when they have the order ready.

    I have managed to translate the page that gives information on orders it says that they take payment when the order is ready for dispatch, now I'm wondering if the problems with our cards has happened because the Uk system for orders usually processes an authorisation and marks the bank account with a pending transaction, it seems this store may work on the system like play.com whereby they take the card details and charge when order is ready but the crossover of Uk verify screens knocked out their card payment system and has upset the order process this is just a guess on my part but I have a good knowledge in banking payments and this theory seems to fit based on what my bank told me about the transaction not showing at all, yet that card was the successful one. I hope this makes sense :rotfl:

    5 days, well 4 and a half I suppose because I ordered late at night. I didn't know if I'd be getting it because nothing was happening, then all of a sudden I got email to say it was with the courier, then it was delivered (I got that email 2 hours before the courier actually delivered it though!).

    As I said before I had to order twice. I don't know what the problem was with verifying my card, but first time it just didn't seem to work. Second time it worked, and then there was an order in my history.

    whats difference between uk house and spanish house

    signed up but cant find the uk or scotland, found irland but no use

    spanish house is half a house, just one pink circle with 3 doors. It doesn't look like it's in stock anymore though :(

    Jellyhead, do you know what date the debit went through on your card? My bank says there is nothing on my debit card and the verify screen I went through has not registered on their system. I guess I'll just have to sit and wait and wonder which card they might take the money from as even though the error screen came up its a possibility they could still claim from one of the credit cards.

    I have two reservations for two (four in total therefore!) of the hamsters.

    Argos Retail Park - Altrincham

    Two problems - I can't get there, so there up for grabs.
    Second problem - I've lost the reservation codes!

    So, either four will become available after closing tonight or I know the codes will be one of the following (a friend ordered something before me and collected theirs). Two of these reservations numbers should be live until closing this evening.

    Reservations codes deleted - some peeps don't like the help!
    Can other's who've quoted delete the codes too. :-)
