sorry - can someone explain - again! how you manage to get the stockchecker to make a sound when you are away from the computer - Kids have an 'occasional' day and I have promised we would make some Christmas decco's (uh oh) perhaps I should get them making hammy beds! (though I don't think my 3 yr old would be very safe with the sewing bit!!) THANKS xx

With mine, you go to the realtime alarm page and then click on test the alarm. If all is well then you can go back to the realtime alarm page again. If no alarm sounding on the test page, then it might be you browser settings providing your sound is working normally anyway.

I phoned ebay about these raffles last week and they said they never acted on listings until someone reported them, so basically they rely on members policing the site. This is a joke in itself but even when listings are reported they often there a day or two later, plenty of time for the seller to have made a pile of cash, even at £1.00 a go. I also told them about the argos reservations - same story.

  • If anyone hears of any hamsters or accessories in the Northamptonshire area, I would be grateful to know where.

Having been relieved that all my four-year-old wanted was the easy to get hold of "Magic tooth fairy game", she's been talking with her schoolfriends about christmas wishlists and come home with "Mummy, I'd like a No Go Hamster.......Pleeeeeeeease", so I too am on the lookout for anything to do with these pesky critters!!

    Thanks for reading

Thanks to the person who mentioned houses in Stockport! I was out and just came back and noticed the post - emailed dh again (he's been resisting the house) and he emailed me back and HE CAVED and said I could reserve a house as he needs to go to Maplins tonight anyhow!!!! So I'm getting a house (doing a little hamster dance!!!) :)

Thankfully its not just me thats having problems with this site - I have decided to give up on them after several attempts - Hopefully your order will be honoured. Good Luck

Funniest thing is my bank said, why don't you just call the store and repay despite being told 3 times the store is in spain. Shonagh have you logged into the website to check an order isn't showing for you?

Anyone who ordered from el corte ingles, how long did your order status take to change from in preparation to something else?

Mookie - I have logged in about 15 times since I first tried to order nearly a week ago - but it always says that there are no orders in my account history. I have emailed them several times and they have always responded saying they have no record of receiving any orders from me. Doesnt look like the money has came out of my account either.
  • i have a reservation code for 2 hamsters at chester racecourse retail park if anyone wants it? reserved till the end of today (30/11/09)

Yes I'd like to know this too. I only ordered mine at 1am today (after many failed attempts) before it became totally unavaliable. I have order in preparation status though. Keeping everything crossed.
Not stressing over what I haven't got but rejoicing what I have:T
