the manager at TRU in doncaster today told me that only 6 weeks ago, they had these on buy 1 get 1 free (or half price, can't remember which) and they couldn't get rid of the flamin things! they were apparently the store dust collectors! He can't understand where all the hype has come from, because the advertisin is apparently on cable/sky and online.....
Ebay, though, has been down tonight hasnt it, i wonder how people would stand, it would be great to get your items cheaper, but it wasnt just hamster searching that was down, so ebay must have to do something, otherwise they'll be a lot of sellers (not just hamster sellers) that maybe out of pocket due to no search facility.0 -
Have been looking for these hamsters and accessories too, found accessories in stock at jacinabox.co.uk at quite expensive prices (well I think so!) but may help someone...? I'm with earlier poster hoping for lots new rrp stock in December!0

I'm sorry but I do not agree with that in any shape or form. Two wrongs don't make a right and STEALING and DECEPTION are not to be advised.
If you say you never received an item when you did then you are actually defrauding the post office as the seller may be able to claim from RM.Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0 -
Not if something 'frustrated' the contract. I studied law at degree level and if the seller wants to cancel the sale he can...............and ebay would be obliged to remove any potential negative feedback as well. I myself had a few items finishing tonight (not hamsters) and am down a little, but will put it down to life. Ebay will also refund my listing costs!!
Cheers

Sorry this hasn't been frustrated, it wasn't that both parties weren't able to perform the contract - the seller is complaining because not enough buyers could get onto the site at the time to he could get a higher price - that is NOT frustration!
I studied law at degree level too, oh, and masters level, oh, and I'm on my Legal Practice Course now
Cheers to you too0 -
So you'd steal off Royal Mail? Nice
except it's not really off royal mail, it's off other people. the majority of ebay sellers are not the blood sucking vermin that people make them out to be, as you know - you've said you sell yourself on ebay. (who doesn't these days! LOL!)
royal mail are now getting to the point where their compensation for items comes in the form of a few postage stamps. My neighbour sold her son's football boots that he'd grown out of. They were literally like new, only worn them once. They sold for £36. The guy who bought them, claimed not to have recieved them, took her to paypal and got a refund as it was standard 1st class - he refused the recorded delivery option. She contacted Royal Mail, but because she didn't have a purchase reciept for the boots to prove their actual worth, (ex partner bought them for their son) she got 8 1st class stamps as compensation for the "loss".:xmastree:0 -

Anyway, Cleya2 how did you know that, were you watching it anyway? They went for £59, not bad really.
Anymore bargains out there - I found I could search for the item no ok.
Thank you!
oh it did come up in a box!!Very Proud owner of Patches, Chunk, Mr Squigges, Pipsqueak and Num Nums! 1 and a half Houses, slide, wheel, surfdome, skateboard, car & garage, 4 beds, and 1 carrier. :j:j
The question is...........Will i ever find a hamster ball...!!!0 -
Yes, you are lucky that you got yours a few months ago!
Before, I was thinking why get one when we have a real hamster (who sleeps all the time) but my daughter is now begging for a go go hamster. Big question: After having yours for a few months, is it still really played with a lot?
Have visions of paying a fortune for everything and then after a month it will all just collect dust!

I've been watching this 'used' bundle but because I don't know if I'm getting hammies from JL or the spanish site I won't be bidding. It ends in 15 hours if anyone's interested - 3 hammies, a skateboard and a car. The hammies are not boxed. 65+5 and no bids yet.
