Are people still checking places like Wilkinson's for ball etc?? I work there and have just finished my evening shift stacking the shelves. We had no houses, hamsters, cars or slides but did have a full shelf of a mixture of balls, skateboards and surfboards/sleepdome so these will be there tomorrow morning ready to be purchased.

I'd be reporting them to Ebay. It's a binding contract from both sides.

If you list an item at 99pence then you cannot predict what it will sell for.

I feel sorry for genuine sellers but I hope that anyone who purposely cleared a shop shelf of lots of hamsters/accessories just to be greedy and sell on ebay for a vast profit has well and truly had their greedy smirk wiped off of their faces.

You tell them that the problems eBAY are experiencing are not your fault and if they have any complaint or wish any recompense then they should take it up with Ebay. You took part in an auction in good faith and you expect the seller to complete the transaction as per the contract that has now been formed!
