put in a dispute with ebay !!
unfortunately you cant physically MAKE them post the item can you, but at least they will get a strike or something against them

Thanks everyone - I have cancelled the transaction though as I don't want him to have any of my money now, luckily I was just about to pay when he requested cancellation.

Will leave negative feedback though!!

If they didn't set a reserve on their auction then it's tough poo! Don't agree to cancel the transactions as they won't get their final valuation fee back.

As the site being screwy was the fault of Ebay they may let them but if it was me I would complain repeatedly to Ebay.

I did reply saying that if they had wanted a minimum price for it they should have put a higher start price or set a reserve price. They have blamed it on the fact that not everybody can get on and search for go go hamsters. I just don't care what their lame excuse is - I feel like crying!

just to inform you ebay has gone down globally. They do have the power to extend the auctions which ended during this period, for a further 24 hrs once restored, as its unfair to sellers and buyers and is classed as an outage. dont bite my head off please (dont shoot the messenger!!!!!) just read the ebay forums/rules on this as its a big one and lots of businesses are not happy about it.
