I'm very grateful to everyone who has posted in this thread, both with stock alerts and little gems of information like the benefits of smooth Go Go balls over real hamster balls, LOL! It was a gem I shared in the school playground just yesterday!
I've been lucky enough to get most of the stuff I wanted plus stuff that 3 friends wanted so we are all very grateful.
And I've been naughty too and got some stuff coming from Ebay US that isn't available here.

Ohhh have you anything coming thats not available in ther UK yet?? :D

Thanks for this - have cancelled order and gone with a PlayTrade buyer with a decent feedback score. Doing it as a 'nice to have' for nephew so don't want hassle of Play messing around and not delivering until January!

Don't get me wrong ... I am not saying that Play.com are misleading and will not be expecting stock. I am just suggesting that it is worth verifying either before or after placing the order.

There will be nothing worse if you do get to 2-3 weeks further on to be let down then .. and find prices even more through the roof.

I'm getting baby hamster stuff. But since I've ordered more to sell somewhere else I'm not allowed to say any more!

The playsets have little notches inside, when the hamster runs over them it triggers sound effects to its surroundings, ie. house has bathroom, hamster makes teeth brushing and toilet flushing sounds (so I'm told lol) it also triggers the whoops of excitement when going on slide etc. Also the ball comes with a stabiliser to stop hamster tipping over so a normal hamster ball would not work. Hope this helps.
I am really grateful for this piece of information because otherwise I would have popped down to the charity shops tomorrow and bought some hamster bits and pieces as they are always on sale there so thank you very much:D
If anyone is looking at me and wants to have a pop:rotfl::rotfl:I am just me(in the pots of gold thread, loose weight, sock monkey, boots, glitches,Murphy the cat thread have a look) with a 9 year old trying to get it for xmas not to sell it on ebay for ridiculous prices not trying to buy it off amazon for ridiculous prices just trying to be a mum and getting the bits for him at the price you are supposed to pay;)
A couple of years ago it was fur friends which he has still got and on the subject of ebay, teletubbies some years ago remember the prices they were selling for and that woman in the paper that wanted £1,000 for all 4 of the colours:eek: now that is money grabbing:rotfl:
So far I have got from character the deluxe house and from argos on reservation a hamster so after the add ons now

That doesn't look officially licensed ... there isn't a proper logo.

That seems like someone just cashing in.
  • I think we've established that there is no bad feeling towards MM or any poster in particular by now and we all know to be careful about posting about anything that could be construed by mods as trading - don't want this thread closed down ;)

Hmmm i havent post anything about trading at all anywhere and feel i had a right to say how i felt as you did. :D

I do not want the thread closed down and wasnt the one who started about trading rules or about MM that was you! :o
