so those of you that have these already. are they easy to put together. do they stay together ok or will i end up helping my 4 yr old every two minutes to put them back together.

My friend has them and she said they arent easy to put together, I think once they are up they are joint quite securely, its best to leave them set up due to the aggro putting them together each time you want them out.

also do they come with batteries, if not can any one tell me what size please.

    thanks you

    jen xx

Might be worth considering rechargeables, thats what I'm going to do as they run down really quick.
  • Yes they come with batteries already - I haven't tried to assemble the funhouse or the garage yet but have checked the parts and they look easy enough to put together ;)

thank you, i had visions of us spending the next few months trying to tape bits of cage together.

it was flash backs from the boys trainset on carpet that would just come apart.

Great advice thank you, I hadn't even considered batteries lol :o

What sort do they take and how many?
  • john lewis now says out of stock.
  • thank you mookie. i think we will leave them set up for her if they are sturdy once made up they can go where sadly our real hamster went. i figured this was cheaper and wouldnt die. much easier for a 4 yr old plus she can squeeze this one without being bitten
