Oh right... best not to report it then....am quite new to this, dont even know how to reply using what you said lol
Anyway, MM, i just didnt think the conversation was fair.
I will ask, though, whats all the fuss about the ball..... ive seen that they are sold out everywhere....
I have the slide, which i know my littlw girl will love.
I got it from TRU in Tunbridge Wells, they had loads..... of hamsters and a few other bits, but no balls, so i couldnt see what they did, so to speak. I just imagine my pet hamster when i was little, crashing into everything in its ball! lol Complete nutter it was....
I just need a bed.... but dont want to pay £5 p+p when the bed is only £5, so will just have to wait.

Has anyone read the reviews on Argos for the car and garage set? They seem poor quality and ill made to last past xmas day from the reading.

I havent read the argos reviews, but I have read they are not good on carpet, I still got one though to complete the set. I think the general parents opinion is the whole set is not fantastic quality but if the kids are happy and it stops the whines of 'mummy hamster, mummy hamster, mummy I want one' then its worth every penny. :rotfl:
  • do u know what, this is gettin daft. i have not bought anything and have not offered to send it on to anyone, I was just saying I did not see the problem with it. I have everything i want except a ball. I am on many forums and i know how to be sensible with stuff on the web. I know that no one is having a personal dig at me but I think that the spirit of this thread has been ruined. it was all about mums and dads helping each other out to find the xmas present of the year for their kids. I am not gonna post anymore on this thread now

I think the problem with it has been explained - I like to think too that this is what this threads about but I'm not going to allow myself to think that this is how everybody looking at this threads will see it - it could be viewed as an opportunity to rip off the people we are trying to help.:(
  • i think it is a shame to come to the thread expecting the great information from most of you to come and read arguing.
  • Crikey, enough now!

I managed to get the spiral slide and wheel from the Toys R Us in Merry Hill Dudley yesterday morning.

There wasn't a great deal left but they did have some houses too and loads and loads of hamsters.

HTH and can everyone stop bickering please?
  • so those of you that have these already. are they easy to put together. do they stay together ok or will i end up helping my 4 yr old every two minutes to put them back together.
  • also do they come with batteries, if not can any one tell me what size please.

    thanks you

    jen xx

Yes they come with batteries already - I haven't tried to assemble the funhouse or the garage yet but have checked the parts and they look easy enough to put together ;)
  • I would like to thank everyone especially MM. I live in Saudi Arabia and without this thread I would have found it extremely difficult to get all the hamster bits I needed, no local shops for me to pop into! My mums house is filling very quickly:D. All I need now is a ball I will continue to watch this thread but please people get over the bickering and put this thread back to what it was for HELPING EVERYONE:j
