I got a letter from the wonder that is Tesco's when I got home from interview yesterday!

    And it said............

    Dear .........

I was sorry to hear about your recent disappointment with our Chinese style spare ribs. We take all customer feedback very seriously. I have sinced passed your letter on to our suppliers who will be working hard to correct the outlined faults from your letter.

Whilst I understand that this reflects badly upon Tesco I have enclosed a Tesco MoneyCard with £5 credit for yourself, as our way of saying sorry for your disappointment. I hope this goes someway to compensating you.

Should you have any further comments about the goods or service you receive please dont not hesitate to contact me personally.

    Yours
    .....................

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:T :T :T :T :T :T :T

I'm super duper impressed! I didnt think I'd get anything back from them, I was just curious as to whether being "a letter writer" got anyone anywhere! And now I see that it does!

By the way they were bad ribs! Hardly any meat at all!
So thats £5 to add to my grocery budget! woohoo!

:p the one thing that has made me smile this week :p

Well another scorching day today, was woken up (pleasantly) by the feeling of water on my toes, only to find my feet half way off the bed and rain pouring in through the window! Lovely!

Anyway just to update, have been approved by smile online bank for current account with them with £500 overdraft, fee free!

Woohoo! Am hoping to transfer everything over, including wages direct debits etc, all to start on the 1st of the month!
Am then going to make serious in-roads into clearing overdraft from previous current account, even though it would be fee free I dont really want to transfer this, as I want to get back into spending whats actually mine.

My overdraft fee at the mo is only £1.01 anyway so it wouldnt be a massive saving.

Have decided I hate Abbey :)
