Sorry to hear about your bubby Bella, couldnt have been nice at all!

Thanks ZTD!!!! Your messages always cheer me up, can't face chocolate at the mo', so something must defo be wrong lol!

On the case of the AD's I've only been taking them for a week, but I've been thinking I may just go onto homeopathic, which the doctor did suggest to me, if I didnt want to take the prescribed! So hopefully I wont suffer half as much as I did with these!

Boyf has gone out with his friends tonight which is good, I didnt want him bored to tears because I'm just laying around a lot, but I've been trying to make an effort to get up and move around a lot more, and he has noticed and I do feel better for it, went for a walk to tesco's, spent £6 on some cravings I had lol!

Just a little treat for me, i thought I deserved it :)

Girls who can't face chocolate is a recognised medical condition. There's a support group and everything for it. ;)

It's a bit rough that. They take 2 weeks to kick in, but the side-effects are there from day 1.

I was wondering what treats there were in Tesco barring choccies. But I know what it is. It's that Milli Vinilli CD you've always wanted. You put it in, and the sound comes out of a different stereo.

lol Milli was never really my thing to be honest!

My treat consisted of sweet crispy chilli beef and egg fried rice! and some coke, which was mostly for the boyf as I seem to have become addicted to tap water! ah well, money saving I guess!

Today am not planning on doing much, tho the boyf has started getting in my ear about doing something, the fact that I'm ill and off work doesnt seem to register with him! Oh well!

Got some laundry and hoovering to do, and the washing up and then just going to relax, want to be ready and able to face work on monday, even if I only end up being there half the day! I want to get back into the swing of it!

On the up side, my pay day was yesterday and I got my full pay, obviously they werent aware that I was off last week so Im guessing that will be rectified next month so I'll be a weeks pay down then instead!

    Quck advice question tho..................
Its the boyfs birthday in september and obv dont have much money but I was going to try and put some money away each month to take us both on holiday in 2008 to New York, I know its a long time off but he'll of finished uni then and maybe we can put money into a seperate account instead of birthday and xmas presents etc.
I didnt know if I was being foolish trying to do this whilst paying off the debts as well though? What do we think peeps?

Oh, the innuendo that could be whipped out of this! Just one word to say: Tongue?

It never does for that sort of thing.

Yeah! Good news. Think of it as an interest-free loan. This will enable you to prepare for the shortfall next month with plenty of notice.

It depends on your DFD. If it comes after your DFD, then you could use it as an accounting exercise. i.e. you say you have £100 in the account but you haven't really. Then you continue on your DFW lifestyle after your DFD and pump in more significant amounts of money into a savings account to bring it up to the "documented" amount of money that's supposed to be in it.

    I hope that makes sense.

I think I can see what you mean!

I just think it'd give me some sort of focus in terms of reward for the end of it all, plus I'll work harder at bringing my DFD closer, because the quicker I clear the debt, the more I'd be able to save. Is that the right way of thinking?

Am gonna try to spend this month like it was this month that I was short on the money, like I thought it was going to be, then next month I'll actually be ok, hopefully lol

Still holiday out in case I get a call about the job on monday, maybe it'll pay off to stay positive :) Heres to hoping :)

That's exactly right. Does this mean you need some motivation?

Yes, but don't be too hard on yourself if you don't completely succeed. You can spread the defcit over this month and next month.

It always pays to stay positive - no more of...
want to be ready and able to face work on monday, even if I only end up being there half the day!

That's defeatist talk! You will go to work. You will be there all day. You will succeed.

    Right - motivation:
    • Update your sig - you've owed £6667 for as long as I've been looking
    • Update your sig - work out a DFD and let everyone know!
    • Join the £2 and update your sig!
    • Join the 20p club and update your sig!

The club money goes towards a savings account for that holiday. Also do that "taking the pennies" thing and put those in a savings account - and guess what - update you sig with how much you've saved.

You want to see progress - we want to see progress.
