Well I can finally admit triumph over the monster, although that was because I enlisted the help of the BF to help me demolish it.
Was just as tasty the day after! So thats two meals (well three if bf hadnt been round) that I made from one round of cooking. Quite impressed with myself for that one!
AND!!!!
Another no spender today, so thats three in a row! Am mighty proud of myself. Even took lunch to work again today, saving myself the usual £3 on lunch.
Day off from work tomorrow, which could cause some upsets but heres to careful planning and preparation.
On not so great note my latest mobile phone bill has come thru at £67! Dear god I know I know! Am going to contact Orange to find out when contract expires...... need to get that changed asap!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I'm actually going to send Orange a letter because I seem to remember upgrading my phone in october of 2005, and I know I signed up to 18 months, but that would still only make it till April.
So I'm going to request a copy of the agreement, which they should be able to provide. I know I got one copy and they keep the original. And see if that sheds some light......
I will triumph!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
the time for change is upon us
but what could she mean?
Well people I'm here to give you the new and improved plan for the first quarter of the beautiful year known as 2007 :T
After careful deliberation and consultation of the monetary side of things. I/We, flatmate and I, have decided to hold off moving out, just yet.
We're giving ourselves another couple of months to pay off some debts (mine)clear some of the overdraft (hers) and start as we mean to go on in our new home.
So we're now aiming for end of April 2007.
I think its the best thing we could have done. I was worried about how to get all the money together and now we've got a little bit more breathing room for getting that all together! :T :T
So my new found plan is to be Store Card Free by the end of April.
This means
Debs store card £82
Debs Staff card £150
D.P Store Card £598
So thats £830 to pay off by the end of April...........
Now the question is not "Can I?" but "How will I?"
Now that to me, sounds much more positive and productive.
Now the ebay challenge again seems to have fallen flat due to increasing technical problems.....
So latest suggestions people?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi CAFCGirl,
This alls sounds a lot more positive, well done. :T
Someone else on here has a separate debt account, they pay all their spare money into it then pay off each amount once they have enough. Just a thought.

That sounds very positive and sensible :T Now who are you, and what have you done with C?! :rotfl:
Seriously, it's a very good idea and you'll have lots more time to prepare.

Well what did you think the Monster Pie was made out of!?

No after some a$$ kicking, I've decided to stop beating myself up over every little thing and just get on and do.

And yet another no spender in the life of me. Flatmate has ended up getting more shifts and so planned take away hasn't happened, kinda glad to be honest, saves me some dosh!Someone else on here has a separate debt account, they pay all their spare money into it then pay off each amount once they have enough. Just a thought.
I like the thinking and that has been a plan of mine for many a month now, just never actually got round to it!
I'm going to have a hunt around this evening to see if I can find my PIN number for my A&L account that I opened, and then transfer £150 into that on payday, and "lose/freeze" my current acc card (and I actually mean freeze as in freezer!), and see how I can last the month on that.
So all the bills will be paid from current acc, and then toward end of month I can see whats left in there, and then pay off some extras.
Thats the thought process anyway!Wealth is not measured by currency0
