Halifax Reward Account - multiple applications

I phoned up and the guy said on Dec 6th our 3 accounts will all be automatically upgraded to include the £5 per month on £1000 transactions.
This is incorrect - if you are on a High Interest account at the moment, you need to change it over to the Reward account (which gives £5/month) yourself.
The easiest way to do this is by phone: click here, and they will call you straight back (it's a Halifax link, but it should work for BOS as well, as they are the same accounts).0 -

HSBC - Reward Acc A £5
HSBC - Reward Acc B £5
HSBC - Reward Acc C £5
HSBC - Reward Acc A £1000
Reward Acc A - Reward Acc B -Reward Acc C £1000 all fine...
Go online today to check the current account had been changed to reward accounts online and guess what? I'm -£1000 (overdrawn) in Acc A and only £5 in Acc B!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:
Phoned up Halifax and they can't help me today as its Sunday, they think I never really receive the money from HSBC, if that was the case why are all the accounts showing transfers and with no O/D facility how can I be -£1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Seen a couple of posts in here about accounts displaying the wrong figures - something to do with overnight updates, maybe the weekend also affects thinsg, so why not check again tomorrow, it may well be ok then.
Thanks, let's hope so, because not only is the £1000 not showing, it also reads that I owe them £1000! This is really annoying, it better smooth out otherwise really not worth all the hassle.0 -

Imagine that, branch telling you not to use the call centres, and bring all those lovely sales to them. Of course they are going to say that, how would they meet target otherwise?
Personally I wouldn't take advice from a commission hungry member of branch staff who makes a sweeping generalisation about a very large part of HBOS's Retail Operation.
Exactly, Jambo.
What a most unprofessional and unsensative thing for that person to do !!!0 -
At what point in the month are the fivers dished out or does it depend on when you opened the account?0
-
It guaranteed to be during the first 10 days of the month, but I have never been paid later than the 2nd of the month, and in most cases it is made on the 1st day....0
-
Well I made the transfers so will be interesting to see if I get my fivers!!0
