I bet if I check the page views now it will have dropped as people lost interest...also reducing ad income.

Ok, this made me curious so I made a note of the page views yesterday evening. There's been over 400 views in twentyfour hours (Yes I do get bored sometimes). This has been on so long that I would think most of them are people entering rather then coming on for a nosey or leaving a comment. I do find it strange that so few are thanking the provider of the answer. We seem to have a lot of mystery visitors to this tread.

I am still being positive about this. :D

I meant page views for their site, not this thread. Currently that's lookig like 741 visits per day (estimated)

If that's even close to correct that's not good. Quite a few come from India according to Alexa too...20%+ :rotfl:

Thanks to the posts above I have looked at this more closely and my enthusiam has dipped quite a bit.

They state on the website in order to legally give the house away they need to raise £900,000:eek:

Simple math over 21 weeks thats almost £43,000 a week, over £6,000 a day. If it ran for a year they would still need almost £2,500 a day.

I doubt the advertisers they have (no big nationals with large advertising budgets), would be spending more than £50/week and a dozen of them would only raise £12,600 over 21 weeks or just over £31,000 in a year before deduction of running costs.

If you have the time to spare and do not miss out on entering a competition with a guaranteed prize then no harm in going for it.

Exactly what I think. It's a bit of a mad optimistic scheme and probably doomed to fail ...but as th T&C specify a lesser prize should that happen, and it's free...what's to lose entering ;) ....nothing much.

The funny part for me was them patenting the thing...and intending to do more when this one looks far from a done deal yet?

I hope they do more and this works...but as you said...major advertisers and huge publicity would be required. Bunny homes won't fund it.
