EMM is very useful but it certainly doesn't seem to be as well maintained as it used to be. It's rare that I get all my accounts to connect now. You should never rely on it to store your passwords, and account details etc, always keep a record elsewhere. Citibank (owners of Egg) used to have a similar service but have discontinued it. Wouldn't surprise me if EMM goes the same way; there doesn't seem to be much in it for them.0

Thanks for your pointer to first direct - I have been having trouble with EMM for some time now, not only NatWest but also other banks.
I signed up with FD today and it works well for NatWest & Alliance & Leicester among others. Only trouble I had was the punctuation in the Nick-Name (the account names given by the source bank) - it is fussy about "&" and some other punctuation marks. I received a reply from FD online help after a few hours which solved the problem. You can rename the nick-names to whatever you want.

Just tried to add a HiSave account to my EMM and it worked like a dream.
Looks to me like they've been working on it and fixed a few problems.
Even the total at the bottom is now correct.0 -

I am sick of EMM at the minute. I too have a ABBEY and Coventry account whic can not be logged onto via EGG.
I HAVE JUST RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE FROM EGG -
A fix did into place to amend the errors with the Abby accounts on 17 November 2009.
A fix is due to go into place on 4 December 2009 for the Coventry Building Society.
With regards to the problems with your Abbey account, can I send you a log file?
A log file will record the steps taken until the error occurs, it won't record any of your personal security information or any of your balances, just the information we need to stop the problem happening again .
So I am waiting for them to offer this log file:rotfl:0 -
Think you're being a little harsh on Egg. This is a free service that they don't have to offer. Its screws up if an organisation makes any change to their login page. It would be good if they fixed it sooner but as its 'free' I don't suppose its a priority. If you're sick of it, don't use it.
First Direct do a similar thing which I tried this week. It looked pretty nifty to start with, plus had extra log ins to things like electricity accounts, nectar & mobile accounts. However it locked me out by the 2nd day and wiped my details (probably didn't like the fact that I don't have any First Direct accounts !). So back to Egg, which seems to be working better for me this week.0 -
RBS is working again on Egg Money Manager

Aaargh!
Once again, I've got twice the amount of money at the bottom of my EMM than I think I should have.0
