EGG Money manager

Yes Nat West hasn't been working this week, moreover Egg didn't reply to my query.0

Just wait - at least it's relatively simple to remember your customer number with Natwest and RBS (birthdate and a 4 digit number).0

I also have had problems recently with EMM, it now shows ERROR on all my Fidelity ISA accounts, and also on my Abbey(Santander) current account, but when I click on the ERROR on Abbey it shows my balance as normal

I tried re-loading an ICICI HiSave account that just kept saying 'loading'. Now it just won't load at all.
The facility is primarily a 'portal' into other Egg products such as insurance.
My take on this is that it seems there might have been a lack of investment into this tool, since it does not directly generate profits.
I would guess that they have lost some 'techie' or other and currently have no one available to tidy it all up - or even take and deal with messages. It seems these latter are just being ignored.
Pity really. I do like this thing as I think anyone does who uses it regularly. It's just great to see all of your stuff on the one site.
But it must be a bit of a mind blower to have all of thes financial instituions able to have their individual systems working on the Egg Your Money Manager.
We now have increased security from the likes of say, Lloyds TSB, who telephone you concerning bank transfers.
Also various credit card companies have an added layer of password security, particularly for online transactions.
Perhaps it is just going to be allowed to die a death?
I do hope not.
Let's hope they get a new 'techie'.0 -
Problems with individual accounts in EMM can occur when the bank in question has changed its login page in some way. Rememver that each bank's login process is unique - not simply a matter of the security information asked for - and they can, and do, like to redesign logins. I suspect the program Egg uses is maintained by someone else - hence the delay while adjustments are made......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Yes EMM is not able to connect to Natwest for many weeks now.
I even tried to remove it from my EMM and then tried entering the details again, but it fails with unable to connect error. Natwest have definitely changed things at their end.
PS: I can login directly via Natwest website login page, so it is not problem with my credentials.0 -
Thank you all for this thread, I'm reassured it's not me now.
I also wasnt able to log in to Natwest through EMM for the last couple of weeks, ended up trying direct and got locked out as I was using the wrong pin.
Today I'm back in (direct) with new details but still not with EMM which prompted me to think of asking Egg if there was a problem with Natwest changing the login process. I then decided it was probably best to check the internet instead and the first return was this thread.
Long live the MSE Forum. I rarely post but always read for my information.0 -

There is another thread going on this page, as several of us have had
the same problem with Coventry Building Society. I have been logged out, and have had to wait for new forms to be sent to reset security.
I've rung Coventry, they assure me they haven't changed anything there end with IT, so it is with EMM. I spoke to the Egg guy this morning and he
says they do have some problems, they are aware of it with Coventry as well, but couldn't give a time when it would be fixed.0 -
Yes, NatWest have an annoying offer of security software that pops up between login screens that messes up EMM. (and the other that use the same software and get updates at the same time).
I got a reply to my query with "we're working on it".0
