did you change the SSID (network name) on the router?
are you connected to this new SSID (name matches) on the connected icon on your computer?
Did you set it to WPA and setup a password?
did you definitely enter the new password correctly (could be case sensitive)?
when you unplug the cable are you opening a new browser window entirely and not trying to continue within the same one?
if yes to ALL five points above go to the page where you can view all wireless networks and click the 'changed advanced settings' tab > wireless Networks > properties (for the *new* network you have recently created) and check its using the correct security type ie WPA, other settings on this page should match those on the security page of your router, do you see any mis-match?)0 -

You said that you had connected using wireless. It should not be necessary to enter the IP and DNS manually as the router will do this. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
