  • Money in account from Amazon this morning, but bingo money not arrived yet. Not sure Amazon is worth the hassle. £2.23 received, for a book that was listed for £1. It cost nearly £2 to send. Don't really understand it, but would sooner use Amazon because its free.

No decent jobs in the emails, or rather some really decent jobs that aren't suitable for me. That's the problem with putting key word searches, you can't always filter out exceptions. Really good project manager job, at Sellafield! Need experience in nuclear industry and all sorts of specialist qualifications. But it is £65k!!
May revise my CV a bit, and maybe look to do agency stuff just in housing, not necessarily IT. There may be more of that about, even if only temp work.Depends on the money because will have to cover mortgage and would have to give up some of the part time work.

    Enough rambling list for today

    Finish sorting dining room
    Sort out charity shop stuff
    Update CV
    more washing
    Leaflet delivery - only 500
Sort out something for tea - tidy freezer
Get paperwork back from friend relating to council tax etc.
    courier stuff later

    think thats it
Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Didn't do that well on list yesterday, mainly because too cold and son needed help to go and pick speakers up from gig at weekend. In old car this was a doddle as seats folded flat, this car is much smaller so a bit like krypton factor.

    Money stuff:-
all DD's have gone out of bank, only virgin left to pay on card - won't do that on DD as they keep changing the date. In theory this means I still have £200 left.
I am trying to deal with money as if I am still working so put money into account from lump sum to pay bills and live off part time money. Have obviously done better with the part time money in November as usually take out cash by now and haven't done that for weeks.
Have had to pay this months mortgage and secured loan because the PPI didn't kick in until today and payment was due on 28th but will ring and see how this works, whether it leaves me a month in advance, or if PPI just doesn't pay this month. PPI was one of the things I was thinking of cancelling, so glad I didn't now.
Have got £55 still in purse, have also got £80 in Christmas envelope, £28 on prepaid cards and £76 in change. :j

Won a tenner on BB again yesterday, I seem to do ok on the 50p games, they don't have decent prizes but a fiver here and there is fine. So far have won £144. If I had been using my own money it would have cost £110 to win it so still in profit, but not quite as good.

Extra hours in pub today, funeral, so off to iron white blouse and black skirt.

Bingo money in account this morning, debated whether to PaD it, but it has gone into Christmas pot which will be spent today or tomorrow. Technically thats a PaD but will leave it for now and 'maybe' PaD the remains of my Christmas pot on Christmas Day.

only 50p on BB this morning, may wait to take it out as using the account today so don't want to leave myself £20 short. Time must be running out for BB, think I've got one or two days left.

Got a bit of a shock yesterday when I took paperwork into office.
First shock - boss asked if I still made stocking fillers - said yes, he asked could I make some for him, so taking some in tomorrow for him to look at.
Second shock - boss said 'are you still coming tomorrow?' - what , where?? Apparently there is a staff night out, I was told about it and said yes. Company are paying most of it and managers are paying for wine so will cost £5 for Christmas night out. But its tonight!!!
Have raided wardrobe for stuff that fits, and flung it all in the wash. Now have to decide which combination of black pants, top and assorted jewelry to go with.

Yesterday DS decided to blitz his office, and agreed that when finished he would help me do my bedroom, need to move furniture. Guess what, time ran out and my room didn't get done. On the plus side, he has a mate who's a painter and decorator who has offered to sort the plaster out and paint it for me, for the grand cost of - 4 cans of Guinness and a chippy tea. We still have paint left over from kitchen and I think I've got a B&Q credit note somewhere, so if I can get that done, it will just feel better in the house.

Spent money I didn't intend to yesterday as met sister for coffee and bought stuff to make more gifts etc.

More of a plan later when I know what I'm doing.

hi gill - hope the xmas do went well. good news you have more potential sales of stocking fillers.

bingoport the refer a friend button has disappeared as they have just revamped the site - I think it is just a mistake but not sure when they are bringing it back. you could try my referral link in the pm but not sure it will give me any points but if you wanted to crack on that would at least give me a chance of extra points.... and you could start getting some too...

Christmas night out was a laugh. Bit weird as it was not for the office staff as I thought, but specially for the part timers like me, who never meet each other unless we bump into each other in the office.

Ended up with the meal not costing anything for some reason and all the wine with the meal was free, only costed if you wanted something eles, as I only drink wine, it was fine by me.

Total cost of night out £3 train ticket! Rest saved in Chrisstmas pot.

Took one of each of stocking fillers in, together with some other stuff because I know he has daughters and granddaughters. Things like little bubble baths with a body scrub, wrapped up in fancy cellophane, some sweets in cones. He is paying for what he takes and is going to have some more, so should get rid of what I've got left and maybe need to get some more stuff.

Up at silly o'clock with a streaming cold.

Cup of hot chocolate then do the Pad adding up.

Have been full of cold and feeling a bit sorry for myself, was really difficult working on Friday so went home early. Can't really pull pints with a tissue in your hand, not very hygienic.

Tried to get some cold remedy stuff, but I think it was either me not speaking properly or girl behind counter not being that bright. I can't take paracetamol, and most remedies seemed to have it in, so I asked. She said, oh yes, theres this its got Ibuprofen in. Fine, but its also got a big sign on it saying 'Contains paracetamol'. Gave up and bought Beechams Powders.

Didn't do much food shopping, only essentials, so still have quite a bit of cash. But next weeks wages will be rubbish because of not working much this weekend.
Last tenner taken out of BB, tried to sign up for bingoport, but it won't let me, and have gone onto virgin but the site is really cluttered. Need to look again when feeling better.
Bought stuff for more snowman soups etc, but will do them when I feel better.

If it stays dry today may go out for a walk to blow the cobwebs away. Been stuck in with the heating on.

Sorry to read you feel stuffy - a little walk in the fresh air will do you lots of good -but don't go too far or too fast - a nice amble will be good enough!
