Oh gill, sorry to hear this - isn't it awful when something bad is going on and they don't want to tell you so that you don't worry? And your mum's had all those previous problems too .... hope everything works out okay tonight, take care of yourself a little bit too....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Gill, just back and catching up. Hope your poor Mum is ok, what a worry, bless her.
Ditto what DT said about the mind mapping - MG is your woman there. Take care xxx0 -
Morning
off to mum's on way to work, hopefully the steroids have started to kick in and she's feeling better, thanks for your good wishes all.
Mind mapping - I've never been able to get the hang of it. On a coaching course when we did learning styles etc. I realised that I don't/can't visualise and work better with written stuff in lists. I've looked at some of MG's blog, but find that sort of stuff difficult so have ignored it to be honest. So I must have a look again, maybe because I need to do it, I will focus more.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Yes, that has completely cleared now, no idea what it was but it really hurt. I'm going to sort out my make up over the weekend, as I've had some of it since Adam was a lad, and its probably not in the best of condition.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Yep, hope the steroids have kicked in - they can do wonders short term like that.
Gill, about mind mapping - its one way of thinking, thats all. The challenges are something else, and you don't need to mind map them necessarily - I bought MG's book, but haven't read it yet, tbh. But I'm enjoying the challenges, and they're making me think. I'm currently on the one about the Golden Rolodex, but coming up pitifully short - I knew I was insular (name 250 people you can network with - even with the whole of MG's matrix, I'm short by about 100
:o:o) but its a real life reminder of what I've been doing to myself.
Hope you're day isn't too tiring.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Strangely I find accountants, and the like, can mind map and think along different lines, so need a way to 'show' what my plans are that will work for the Finance Director, who is the person who has started this particular ball rolling.
Mum says she is feeling better, steroids kicking in, so am not going tonight. Maybe my sister will go;)
Been paid, done online banking and stuff, have £12.18 in my Paypal account, and around £35 due over the next few days. I think it works out cheaper to leave the money in Paypal and use it to buy stuff, rather than transfer to bank, but not sure. If thats the case, will use it along with Amazon vouchers for DS and nephews Christmas presents.
Off for a read of diaries and to check if KC has gone line dancing.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

I'm certainly leaving money I've got from selling things in my paypal account, so it can go straight out again in purchases, lol ... as you say, very good for Christmas presents

I did go line dancing! Full(ish) report on my thread

Lovely day here, have got washing drying outside, so thats a good thing. It always seems so much nicer somehow.
Have done some ironing, but there is still loads to do.
Shopping all done, including beef for Sunday roast.
Total spend so far £39 which includes drinks for DS and some stuff to put away for Christmas. Have also put money into Christmas club at the butchers.
Mum has been sleeping a bit better so is going to the doctors on Monday. Apparently the only real answer is surgery, which she isn't too happy about. She bottled out of the heart surgery twice before finally having it done.
Will take a wander to local shops tomorrow to see what they've got.
Catching up on some of my recorded stuff, have watched the final episode of Fringe and finally understand it on the 3rd go. Next thing to watch is some Nigella.
Have a good day all.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
