Where did today go? Tidying up, and more tidying up, and then going out for a walk as the sun decided to appear.
All good stuff, and DS is scraping the damp artex off the wall, so we can see how bad it is. Oops hope its safe artex!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Lovely day today, covers (well various old bedspreads) off the sofa, and now in wash. Off to pick up wheelchair in a bit, to take Mum out, as she wants to do some of her own shopping.
She also wants to go to Tatton, but think that may be too much, both for me and for her. Will see if sister is available any time.
I also need to do a bit of reading up for interview on Monday, as its not a formal setting it won't be appropriate to have a folder to refer to. I also need to check up on what is expected, as the informal setting (motorway services) may be part of the process(?)Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Glad we managed to get out and about, as today is dull, dull, dull. We never made it to Tatton, glad in some ways as I'm not really in to gardens, and it would have been better for my sister. Also Mum was tired after just half an hour out and about, so we just sat and had a coffee, then went back home.
Back later.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Morning! I'm just back online - you sound like you've prepared for the interview tomorrow really well, *plus* turned the house upside down to tidy and clean - my living room is currently lovely and minimal, but the office is now a tip with a couple of piles of stuff I want to scan and throw
Sorry your mum got so tired at Tatton - thats what we found in Norfolk, actually, that mum got really tired really easily - she'd go back to bed for a nap immediately after breakfast, that sort of thing. Part of the reason she got extra tired, tho, is that we all like gardenswe pottered around Sandringham for ages (it was the biggest local place to be with the rellies).

So far today - I can't find any washing to do! May have to take curtains down or something, I'll get withdrawal symptoms.
Disadvantage with being off, I am tending to put things off, whereas normally I like the house to be tidy on a Sunday so that all DS has to do is keep it like that. So must get back into a routine. I'm not calling at Mum's today, mainly because it takes so much time out of my day, and I want a day to myself. Is that selfish?
I've made some more soap - waiting for that to set.
There are a few blackberries starting to appear down by the railway line, so will keep an eye on them.
Breadmaker is on.
Friend is calling round for coffee later, so will maybe do some baking. Will try pippi's scones again!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Of course its not selfish! Enjoy it
Fascinated that you made bath salts, by the way .... my project inside the house now (apart from the dratted scanning-to-declutter) is the bathroom - mould, in all its nasty habits, and a rubbish showerhead are the main issues, tho there are several. You're doing *really* well in the house - has the moving stuff around made a difference now you've used it?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
