Pooky, hope you get a wheelchair for OH soon, I know they can take a while. Maybe if you ask on the disability and dosh forum someone will have a rough idea of current waiting times?
I agree about the red cross hire, I wanted to hire an electric wheelchair when I went to Leeds fest on my own a few years ago, from memory it was £200 a week with a minimum hire time of a month. Needless to say I didn't bother... Red cross are one of the cheaper ones though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
