It's fine now, although it's on my crossed knees so plenty of air flowing around it. I think you were right about the overheating, it only goes like that on a night when it's been on a while resting on the duvet. I'll make sure I prop it on something to get plenty of air flowing around it in future (of course I could not use it at all and do something productive like housework, which would be even better, but not as fun).

Thanks for the advice, I tend to panic about things like that!

And I now also need a new mobile, mines run out of battery and wont charge. I noticed Asda had some for about £15 so one of those would do. Someone suggested I try and get a contract, but I just don't use it enough.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Stopping for a minute to eat my lunch.
HM butternut squash and roasted red pepper soup.
Then back to renewals...only 25 or so more to go...

See the accountant in me wants to go...how long does it take you to do each renewal...how much do you get paid...work out profit etc, etc....

Instead I have had to do my bloomin ironing.. my virus scanner is set to run at 12 noon every day and I kept forgetting to change it..its slooooooooows down my laptop to tortoise pace...

Have you tried Freegle/Freecycle for a wheelchair Pooks?

You could also try the ebay bargain finder...(just put that into google)...brings up anything in your area that is pick up only. They had a wheelchair in my area last week..

  • Well, I'm getting paid to work today and I feel bad leaving everyone in the lurch at work-we are so short staffed! One of the girls is on holiday this week and another guy has quinceys (or something like that??!?!) and has been off for a week and a half! The phones were mental and we are not reaching FSA regulations with our renewals...so...

At least I dont have horrible people moaning at me about the fact their claims arent being paid because they left their windows open or that they were 'mis sold' a policy that they've claimed on twice!

Right I'm back. Phew. I think (fingers crossed) everything is sorted. Hopefully we can move in a couple of weeks (well we've only got about 4 left here I think). Just got to hope Landlady says yes to us and that the referencing stuff goes through o.k and then wahey - new house here we come. Lounge is a bit smaller than where we are now so a bit worried about fitting us in the house - we have loads of stuff but it seems to be what we need (and we can afford it).
Going to chill out for a bit until letting agents turn up. Not going to Pilates today as can't face it -am worn out, stressed out and would like a bit of chill time with OH- even if we ignore each other all evening and watch t.v :rotfl:.

  • All men seem to have a thing about nurses, even my DH shows interest at the thought of a nurse...
