    ~Random thought alert~
Pooky have you applied for DBR (disabled band relief) on your council tax? You should be able to qualify by my reckoning as your OH can't get about and needs a wheelchair -- I don't think you have to be registered disabled to claim it- check with your council what they need in terms of proof etc. Basically if you are a Band C in council Tax you pay B, if you are a B you pay A rates etc.
Also have you applied for a grant or anything to get any works done to make the place more accessible? Just a few thoughts for you there.

I'm back, and can I just say my brother is a better driver than my sister, who has been driving 3 years, and he is yet to pass his test

Anyways I am so annoyed at Natwest. I put in to transfer my isa 4 weeks ago and it takes 15 days. So I phone them up and they haven't even started it and I have to go back to the branch yada yada. well I just phoned Halifax and they are sending the money that I need to my bank so it will get there Monday, ready for holiday :j I think I will leave my isa with Halifax now ;)Now onto next company to phone...

Oh and just as a bit of a :T moment I am now in adsa 14 tops, omg

Spud, thinking of you hope you are better soon :j

Pap, everyone says my sister's a better driver than me, I've been driving over 10 years, she hasn't passed her test yet!

Argos are strange, I was going to reserve a very small unit to use as a side table, but it's home delivery only. So for a fiver more (so still less when you take into account the delivery charge) I've got a unit that's twice as big instead. Still the same height though, so it'll still work where I wanted it. It's odd though that the bigger one you can collect yourself!

I put the old sofa and chair on freegle and there's been about a dozen replies, hopefully that'll go this week and then I can finish getting the living room sorted in a couple of weeks when I get my next payment.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Strange isnt it Ames, but then he is also better than me and I passed 2 years ago (although havent driven since)... He just cant pass the practical, too nervous I think, 4th time at the end of the month....
