    Morning
Need some help please, Bookie may know this! What is the system called that is used in libraries?
The one where you have, for example, Section 2 is History then 2.2 might be English History, then 2.22 World War.
    HELP!

    Dewey Decimal?

It is the dewey decimal system....indeed..

This system organizes books on library shelves in a specific and repeatable order that makes it easy to find any book and return it to its proper place.

:rotfl: i am such a geek, I know the dewey decimal system like I know my alphabet....

Thanks for the good luck Pooky...just hoping not many if any others apply and I at least get interview! Ok when they ask for education and quals do I seriously need to list all the GCSE exams I took ahem 18 years ago? Thought If I put down 10 taken, grades A-B that would do, what you think?

  • I'm back from the Jobcentre. As predicted they cannot fill in 2 lines on a form without a fuss. I have had to leave it there and they will post it back. That means I can't get my accountant to sign it until then.

Whaaaat?- they really are carp. Hopefully you have some money coming in now though? I know it's not great but things do seem to be moving - just at a ridiculously slow rate.
I just want to throttle them for you - although it's possibly not their fault the system is so rubbish.
Have you applied for a crisis loan? and did you find out if they were allowed to take money off your jobseekers for the mortage payment thing.
    Hugs to you.

Pooky, how long will it be until you can get an NHS chair?

No idea until we've spoken to the GP - she's calling at lunch time. The red cross lady signed this chair over until the end of December....said if we'd got a NHS one by then she'd be surprised...

Squizz - I love that penguin pic on FB that you've commented on...it's fab!

I would have thought so although it might depend if they mention specific subjects in the job description, i.e. if they say you have to have GCSE English and Maths. Lots of luck!
