  • Morning, I too am at home with the kids today-DD came into the bathroom whilst I was in the shower and said she wasnt feeling well-she's like yours Pooky, loves school so knew something was up. Mind you, they have been miseries all weekend! Tried to convince her to go to school which ended in tears so working from home today.

Still in shock those wretched twins are on XFactor.

Very stressed out here today. Went to see house on Saturday and just need to get the deposit in - they wouldn't take deposit on Saturday and have spent an hour trying to phone them this morning - am not a happy little bunny. Really would like that flat/house thing.:mad:

Weekend was really not great- Friday couldn't get in to property and it was on a really busy road, saturday, spent an hour getting to a different property to find out they only wanted single people and letting agents had been phoning to let us know for an hour but we hadn't heard mobile while on the bus etc :(, got back for viewing on our flat and viewers didn't turn up (but letting agent did) - OH not pleased as had spent hours cleaning it in case we needed to stay on, saw another nice flat but weren't able to put deposit in as letting agent was off to another viewing and person in office was only saturday person and couldn't deal with it. So just biting nails now 'till it is taken off market for us to sort paperwork.

I think you can Pap, as long as the supervising driver is in the front passenger seat and they are fit to drive and have had a full licence for 3 years. Just had a quick Google and can't find anything to contradict that.

    Morning all.

Good luck with the job application Sally!

Pap, I'm pretty sure you can, I used to when I was a learner, and on one of my tests I had my instructor in the back.

I'm going to bite the bullet and email sister about the £90 she owes me, and the £120 that needs sorting out because of the Leeds tickets that never turned up, I don't know if there's a time limit for doing a credit card refund thingy, but it needs sorting. When I tried to get her to sort it at the time though I was being 'controlling' and should leave it to her because it was nothing to do with me. Apart from it being my money.... Then I'm having a lazy day doing some studying and writing.

Oh, and I've got a favour to ask, my Italian homework is to find a picture with a few people in and describe them, but I don't think I've got any that fit the bill, would anyone mind if I used a picture from one of the Leeds meets, and if it's ok where I can find them?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Pap - I can't see it being a problem either -as long as everyone is strapped in properly and superviser has correct licence etc and in the front. I agree with Snaggles and Ames.
