I have a "decision jar" of all those little jobs I need to do. I write them on little bits of paper, fold them up and put them in the jar. That way, when I'm bored I pull one out and I have to do the one job. It only works for those nagging things that don't actually have to be done.
Sometimes I put nice ones in like "eat cake"
What a great idea!:T(especially the cake bit:D)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
My car wasn't ready after work. Apparently they ordered the part for it but the wrong part was sent! Luckily I only live a 20min walk from the garage so it isn't too much of an inconvenience, and it should be fixed by tomorrow.
I had a lovely walk home. The sun was shining, it was warmish. I walked the longer way round which is through a park, round a lake and along the seait was beautiful. I then sat out on my balcony and read for half hour before it got too chilly.
I've just eaten my HM celery soup for dinner, the rest is cooling to go in freezer. I've made some pasta to take to work with my salad tomorrow.
My new group of teens started today, 14 in total. The were all so quiet but should come out of their shells tomorrow when we play problem solving games.
Have a good evening

Good evening my friends,
Not much to report here, except that I am still managing to feed George (he won't eat McDonalds and all that kind of fast food so no choice really).
I've done as much paperwork as I can so far, and I booked myself an appointment for the dentist tomorrow to have a filling replaced. I filled the car with diesel (yes it is a diesel car), and managed a quick trundle round Asda.
Keeping busy and in our routine is still the way forward. Sadly the ironing is waiting until tomorrow as I ran out of time today.
Take care all of you0 -
I did get started on the table mats; I've got the "shell" of them sewn up, I now have to trim the wadding to size, insert it and finish off the "open" side;
Do you have photo technology so we can see the finished items?
I'll try for a little of the cross stitch later, unless Mr LW has other ideas for this evening.:D

Evening Everyone
A very late one from me, another day gone.
Been very sunny here today but has gone very cold tonight.
Made HM soup today for tea and finished off yesterdays rice pudding. Hoovered round all downstairs and mopped laminate flooring in lounge. Done 1 lot of washing which just needed finishing off on the maiden. Been to library and got a couple of books which have been mentioned on the website - the thrifty cookbook and the new home larder so will enjoy looking at these.
Well I am now off to bed, Hugs to everyone who needs them.
