    Hi:j

    Wipe and water plants[/STRIKE]
Planted some indoor bulbs - probably too late!!
[STRIKE]Wash sofas/covers and any soft furnishings that need it[/STRIKE]washed cushion covers
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]polish mirrors, glass and metals!
    Wipe radiators and paintwork[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]15 minutes filing![/STRIKE]in the dreaded Room of Doom!!!

    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]32 fling boogie![/STRIKE] in the Room of Doom
    2. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]
    3. Sort through a drawer or cupboard
    4. Check window seals for any draughts and stop them up if necessary.. we will be draught free this winter!
Also did HHE, one bin bag of shredding and one bag for recycling.

Also sent back keys, swipe cards, ID cards, carpark blippers, locker keys, etc., to the various organisations I've done freelance work for over the last 3 or 4 years - their clutter so they can have them back! 15 envelopes posted today! Figured that when/if I do any repeat work I can be re-issued with the stuff I need.
Toots - Room of Doom floor is ALMOST clear!! I can now walk to the table, filing drawers, bookcase and wardrobes without having to climb over ANYTHING!!
Pigpen - thank you for making today the LR, etc., as I'd dragged stuff out of Room of Doom last night and dumped it in LR and hall - so I HAD to put stuff away so that I could achieve a star today. THANK YOU - you are making me tackle my clutter problems (OK, so inside the cupboards/drawers/wardrobes aren't the tidiest they have been, hey ho!)

Hope everyone is managing to cope with their problems - lots of hugs to you.

    J x

Just had some really sad news. A Dad I have known for 8 years through football and cricket has passed away of a sudden heart attack. I feel so sorry for his wife and children they were all such 'family' people and don't have an extended family. He was one of those people who was always on a committee helping run things and helped out at an old people's christmas lunch each year. What a shame.
Oh that is so terrible - what sad news.

My soup is all finished and I'm very pleased that I have 3 x 750ml tubs - which will be 6 bowls! - full of homemade soup for just over £1 of ingredients plus the leccy for my SC. I'm getting used to all this OS malarky!

Also feeling very proud of myself for not taking the car to Morrisons like I usualy would. Its only a mile so walked there and back with the handful of things I needed to pick up.

Hope everyone is having a good day

    xx

    * Get the Broadband running! (Went last night to PCW**ld and bought a new router as BT swear it's not the line ... after saying that it was...)
PC World will usually take these back if it turns out that it is the line and you don't need it... I've done it plenty of times. But if you have a broadband modem rather than a router with your contract its worth the investment. They are MUCH better, and it's much easier to diagnose faults!
Flying.....I am still working on my household/husband help journal.....everyday more comes to light that he needs to know
I remember hearing about someone calling theirs 'Your family and how it works'. I hope this is a rewarding process although it must be painful for you too - I'm sure you are coming across things that bring back happy memories and are having a few giggles realising how much you have to explain to your OH!

Dusty - (((hugs))) for you, it must be a shock, and for your friend's family.

Pigpen - I believe gin works wonders for the pain :D. I also find that if I can find a way to manage it, exercise often helps with both symptoms... Hopefully you can find a solution soon (mine has been to ignore it and pretend I'm going to take the diet & exercise option seriously very, very soon... but not just at the moment!)

Suppose I should head off to sit in the traffic on the M3

My Christmas garland I ordered for the fireplace mantel from ebay just arrived. Not interested in it now as I was planning a cosy christmas together. Will stick it upstairs out of the way with a scented candle in the box as it stinks of cig smoke and look at it again in Dec with a new frame of mind. Felt the same about the bargain yankee candle gift seft for a tenner that arrived yesterday from yankeedoodle on ebay. Have put them away out of sight for now.
