Mooooooooooooonday ~ Kitchen and Dining room! Done!!:D:D:D
Level One
Level Two
Level Three
I've also done all the downstairs, but will post that on the right day. While washing the kitchen floor I've somehow managed to injure my knee, so am hobbling dramatically, especially up and down stairs. Should give the kids a laugh tomorrow in school...
Lady-Liberty I'm another not on facebook, and rely on you posting here for news. Huge, huge hugs.
Toots - huge hugs for you too
Hugs for fedup as well.
I blocked my supply diary to stay home with DD - partly because I thought a day off would do me good, but mostly because she felt really unwell yesterday and was very down about it. Just about a year since she had that kidney infection which started this whole saga. We're both feeling much better - thank you to everyone for your good wishes - it wasn't anything at all important.
Lovely sunshine here in Kent, but it's chilly! I need to get a few more clothes, I have hardly anything warmer to wear. In halfterm I think. After payday.;)
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hmmm ... went out for cat food, came home 6 hours later. off to clean now!0

Hello to smartie12, Daisydoll, louboutingirl, Madcatgirl and trinity_bleu
hugs for fedupandskint, lady liberty, mudbath and her DS, sexymouse, PenPen and anyone else who wants/needs them. Count me in for tonight please.
embb - some lovely things on there, I liked the cat one best but £19
Good half term project for my boys to make some more snakes though.
Not a lot done here so far this week but I did manage to wash and dry the white bedding and do HHI which is better than nothing. DS1 is playing up and is currently having screaming hysterics upstairs (because he hates me ) so I can't make the beds yet. I assume he is coming down with something or it is the strain of being good for weeks taking its toll.

Love it! She actually wasn't too bad, up until the point we left to collect DD from school. Then she got progressively worse (and worse....). She is definitely jealous of my beautiful living room....there was a bit of under-the-breath muttering...
I think my hormones are stabilising after having the baby - well, that or I'm growing a thicker skin!
See you tomorrow

Right, as AnW's probably busy with the SWs, and Greenbee is busy somewhere, I thought I'd root around and find Greenbee's original post on how visualisation works and what to do. This is it, modified slightly just to change the names....
I think we can do this in one 10 minute slot if we imagine Toots, Lady-L and Mudder's DS as people sharing a group hug and we concentrate on the three of them at the same time and imagine, in our minds eye, them concentrating on each other too.
Visualisation Technique
9pm it is then...
It's very easy, and these are just guidelines, so do what works for you.
Find somewhere quiet to sit where you can be undisturbed for 10 minutes. Light a candle if it helps, and clear your mind (focussing on the flame can help with this).
Then concentrate on whoever thinking positive things about them- think of some of the funny things they'vesaid, or what you know of them]from their, or other, posts
. This is to get your thoughts concentrated on themin a positive way.
Once you're focussed on the person, visualise the thing that's wrong with them, e.g. a tumour is nasty brown thing the size of a lemon, undiagnosed pain is a nasty aura of black, and imagine it being surrounded and then filled with light. If there is a specific colour you associate with healing or positivity, use this. Otherwise, white light is fine. Imagine the light growing brighter and brighter, and the tumour or undiagnosed pain etc slowly dissolving in it, until you're left just with a pool of bright positive energy filling your mind.
Then slowly release the light, leaving it with those people, and think positive and peaceful thoughts to help [them]relax and let all the energy get to work while they rest.
This should only take about 10 minutes in total - if that, as it's hard work if you're not used to visualisation or mediation. You may feel tired afterwards, in which case, just take a little time to relax and bring yourself back into reality before moving on to do other things. Imagining yourself somewhere peaceful & warm (e.g. an empty beach, or a place your really love and feel safe) is a good way of doing this.
If you're the kind of person who needs words as well as images, then prepare them beforehand - words that make you think about toots (positive ones only please ), followed by words about healing, repair, health, recovery etc, then words about peace, rest, sleep.
Hopefully the person will feel a sense of connection and positive energy - but even if they don't, hopefully it'll help them wind down and get a good nights sleep.
All the person being helped with visualisation (if they're aware of it being done) needs to do is think about all of us (by the time they've listed all the flyladies you'll be asleep :rotfl:) surrounding them in a protective circle, and then imagine theirselves filling with the light that we're sending you, and see it dissolving the problem. Once it's gone, just imagine yourself somewhere peaceful and safe and then let yourself drift off to sleep ...

This was just DD's room, haven't attempted the spare room. She doesn't really have boxes of stuff. Maybe half a star for me! And no extra's - see the cat food outing post!0 -
Just managed to catch up on the post from yeasterday and today.
Toots - thanks for the well wishes. compared to what some of you ladies content with, I feel a big wuss complaining about a cough and sniffle!
Thanks for the post about the bra appeal. I have loads of bras cluttering up my underwear drawer, but I tend to just wear the same three uber padded ones.
Soappie - Thanks for the info about the visualisation. I'm in.
(((hugs))) to mudders, ll, fed up, zoelikesjam and anyone else who needs one.
Managed to get most of the kitchen and living room done and even roped the OH in to cleaning the bathroom which is a major coup :rotfl::rotfl:.
I have also got round to making the christmas cake.
Hopefully my voice will be a bit less horse tomorrow as I am due to cover the class in the morning. Managed to get some Manuka honey, propolis and Echinacea lozenges from Ocado and they seem to be doing the trick.
Need to help DS1 to do his literacy homework yet. He is going to take some persuading as he goes into school an hour early on a Tuesday morning for 1to1 so he is schooled out by the time he gets home. Wish me luck!Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

actually true!!!!
I always had a glimmer of hope that it did exist but never thought I would find it. Shame it'll disappear again soon. Oh well
LG xx
