Hi Novagirl, nice to see you!
Well I'm just about on track with my challenges!! It does go to show that if you really focus on something it becomes reality. By not having total focus on my finances over the last couple of weeks, I have ventured off the rails slightly. Hope you and little Harvey are doing well.....
So today, I've paid my daily £1 and also contributed £3 as I took a packed lunch to work. Going to make lunch again this evening so I can pay the £3 tomorrow too!
Have a good evening everyone x0 -
Hello!
Another daily £1 paid and £3 whacked towards the CC as I took my lunch into work.
I am now nearing broke but pay day looms on Friday - thank goodness! Looking to pay as close to £1,000 towards my CC next month which means that I'll have to be a major frugalite during May.
Started on my goals for May (didn't make any for April so thought I could get a head start!). Went to bed last night with my sink nice and shiny, have drunk lots of water but spookily enough I haven't quite got to the gym
Right off now to do 15 mins of decluttering!0 -
Morning!
I managed to wake up before my alarm this morning. Had a great sleep and am refreshed and ready to start my day! Thought I'd have a quick catch up on the Debt Free Diaries before the rest of the household wakes up and normal chaos resumes!
Did my 15 mins of decluttering last night. It was mainly junk and not anything that I can Ebay. I'm also making sure that I'm following FLYlady and going to bed with a shiny sink - what a difference it makes the following morning.
I have just paid my daily £1 and also £3 as I've made lunch for work today. It's good to be back on track. I'm definately looking to clear Capital One by the end of June. After that, there's 2 more credit cards and my overdraft to clear. I've got about 10 mins before I have to start getting ready for work, so I'm going to put together a tick sheet for May so I can cross tasks off my plan.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Hello,
I'm back too. Been away at this and that and just haven't had the time to do any MSE. I've been really good and sent of letters re cc charges and ppi. And that is about all I have done.
I'v not done a PAD for ages, used up my OD again and just generally fallen off the rails. But Monday is a new month and I intend to start afresh then.
So, be good and I'll pop back soon.
Lots of Love,
LL xx£38,000 and change to £00 -
Hi
Lexie Loo, it's great to hear from you again - looks as if it's been a few weeks of slippage for a few of us
Never mind, we can put it all back on track. I've managed to pay £20 towards my credit card and it's pay day tomorrow so I'll be putting some more towards my debt.
Hope everyone is OK. x0 -
Morning!
Just paid my daily £1. Also paid £300 towards my CC but I am hoping to be able to pay closer to £1,000 by the end of May.
So glad it's Friday! It's been a busy week and I'm looking forward to the long weekend. I would really love to book a holiday but need to clear my credit cards before I do.
My list starts properly tomorrow...... by the end of May I should be slightly better organised, a bit slimmer, lots healthier, have a tidy bedroom and be in less debt!
Have a good day x0 -

Hi there,
How are you today? I was lying in bed last night thinking about all of us and our journeys, how long is it since you started this NDD?
I'm off to do my PAD and list of things to do...
Night.

Hi
LL that's so funny - laying in bed and thinking about us all!! It's approximately 205 days since I started this diary, which means that we are a fifth of the way towards our 1,000 days - how scary is that?!! I must knuckle down to getting rid of those debts! How are you doing? Are you on track?
Have paid all my daily £1s this week and even manged to lob £300 towards the dreaded CC.
Can't wait for the weekend. My children are being shipped to relatives tomorrow night so DH and I can go out on the town!Doubt if I'll post much before 5pm on Saturday as I'll be whacked!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hello,
Yes I am back on track, you know starting that frustrating thing where you can't get money to shift your debt quicker than planned as you have no extra money!!
Updated on all my PAD's.
I'm watching the election results.......yawn.
Talk tmmw and enjoy your weekend.
