Good 'Ol Dad! I've been doing my PADs too and finally our tax credits have been sorted so I'm going to get rid of one of our debts completely on Tuesday! YAY!

    Hi

I can't believe that it's 60 days since I last updated my diary! It has been really busy. I've also been on a few self development courses to try and pick up my motivation.... so now I'm back, full of the joys of spring and ready to get back onto the debt busting wagon!

I have lost my way over the last month or two, but really did need to put my focus and energy into my marriage and family. And it's been worth it :)

So my next goal is to repay (and close) my Capital One credit card. I've lapsed on my £1 a day so I've just made a payment for £60 to catch up.

Over the weekend, I'm going to re-calculate my outstanding debt to make sure that I know where I'm starting (again!) and what I need to do to get to that big fat zero!

Hope you've all been doing well and are enjoying the sunshine.

    Speak soon

Good to see you back NDD and I think you're right about concentrating on relationships and family. Now it's the summer coming, it's time to get off the computers and out there enjoying the weather!

Ok, I've done the re-calcs - not as bad as I'd expected as I haven't been MSe for 60 days and have paid for courses, travel etc. My outstanding total (not including mortgages) is £16,681

So my plan for May is:
    1. Look After Myself
    a) Have early nights during the week
    b) Get up half an hour earlier so I can focus on me and what I need to achieve for the day.
    2. Health & Wellbeing
    a) Plan meals EVERY week
    b) Exercise EVERY day
    c) Focus on losing weight
    d) Drink 2 ltrs water daily
    3. Get Organised!
    a) Make sure that I understand what I'm focussing on for the week
    b) Order shopping on line every week
    c) Go to bed EVERY evening with a shiny sink
    4. Declutter
    a) Spend 15 minutes a day de-cluttering
    b) Post each day those items of de-clutter that can be Ebayed
    5. MSE Challenges
    a) £15K by Christmas 2010 - on track
    b) Olympic Countdown - clear my debts by July 2012 - on track
    c) Sealed Pot Challenge - I have 3 tins on the go and once they are full I'll start again! - on track
    d) Daily £1s
    e) Pay £3 EVERY time I take a packed lunch to work - aim for £15 per week.
    f) 20 NSDs
    6. Monthly Challenge
    a) May monthly challenge is to organise my bedroom
    7. Have Fun & Be Happy!
    Speaks for itself.....

Phew! But it is good to be back :)

    Hi

Back into my old routine..... just paid £1 towards Capital One. If I really concentrate, I could have this one nailed by the end of June.

Weather looks a bit grumpy today which is a shame. Have lots of odd jobs to do around the house, so it looks as if it will be a catch up day today.

    Have a good one!

NDD, loving the list and well done for still being on track for your challenges.
